Augmentation of existing pumping station in Kuruchikuppam and Lal Bahadur Shastri Street in Puducherry

Supply, erection and commissioning of single stage, horizontal Dry Pit Non-Clog, frame mounted, end suction centrifugal pump unit for sewage pumping service Capacity 600 – 700 m3 / hr Head up to 45M. The Pumping unit shall be complete with pump and electric motor. Pump casing shall be of robust construction, Liquid passages shall be finished smooth and designed as to allow free passage of solids. Impeller shall be non-clog open/semi open type for raw sewage and sludge application with large water waste so as to allow large size solids that shall be 110mm. The Critical speed of the rotor shall be at least 30% above the operating speed. Pump sets shall have double bearings. The bearing life shall be minimum 40,000 hrs of operation. Pump CI casing and stainless steel shaft, hydraulically and dynamically balanced SS impellers capable of discharging required quantity of water against a total head. Pump shall be provided with G.M. air release cock including unique tyre type coupling, common M.S. Fabricated base to mount pump and motor. Pump shall be capable of discharging the specified quantity at the head noted at the minimum NPSH at site conditions. The shut off head shall be at least 25% over and above the head at duty point. The pump shall be suitable for operation in AC three phase, 415V, 50 Hz, 960 /1450 RPM 4 pole Horizontal squirrel cage induction motor confirming to IS 325/1996 and as amended thereafter with Class F insulation to suit the speed of pump and suitable for operation with continuous S1 rated, 415V + / - 10%, 50Hz + / - 5% TEFC. The motor offered should be of energy efficient motors 132 KW / 180HP.

a) Supplying, erecting and commissioning of 800 amps capacity cubical panel board of size 1925 x 1700 x 450mm made of 16 swg , CRCA M.S sheet painting with two coats of enamel paint above zinc chromate primer suitable for fixing switch dis-connector fuse switches . This shall be inclusive of power mat, copper busbar, 3mm thick hylam sheet . Provisions for all indicator , inter lock arrangements, internal wiring with lugs 75x40x6mm base channel and aluminium earth flat linked with switches and doors. b) 2 Nos, 800 amps four pole switch dis-connector fuse switches with fuse links and casteral inter lock arrangement (1 No. for receiving of E.D supply and 1 No. for receiving D.G supply). c) 3 Nos 400 amps TPN switches dis-connector fuse switches with fuse links ( 3 Nos for 50 HP motor control ( L&T/C.G make) d) 1 No. 200 amps TPN switches disconnector fuse switches with fuse links ( for power capacitor and vacuum pump) e) 1 No. of 63 amps TPN switches disconnector fuse switches with fuse switches ( for vacuum pump) f) 1 set copper bus bar of size 40x6mm, inter connecting flat of 25x6mm and neutral copper flat 25x3mm g) 3 Nos indicating lamps for 3 phase ( L&T make) h) 3 Nos. 6 amps Toggle switch i) 3 Nos. 20 amps fuse base back lite with 2 amps fuse link

Supplying and fixing C.T. metering panel board as per Electricity Department Specification (Drawing enclosed). Panel board of size 1800mm x 900mm x 300mm made of 18 gauge CRMS sheet painted with two coats of enamel paint over Zinc chromate primer with necessary MS base channel. The panel board shall include power mat, copper busbar, 8mm thick Hylan sheet of size 84 x 54cm.

Supplying and fixing of DOL starters 0.5 HP to 5 HP with relay range 0.63 A to 13 A with suitable M.S. angle frame complete

Supplying and fixing fully Automatic auto transformer starter (Pedestal Type) (Jyothi / Kilburn /Unilec) with oil immersed contactors and auto transformer having 50%, 65% and 80% tapping with built in start stop push button and thermal timer adjustable between 3- 12 seconds (Relay range in Amps 120-200) also included panel mounted with Ammeter and ON-OFF Trip indicating lamps-180 HP Pump set.

Providing and laying Ductile Iron Double flanged pipes of class K9 (Electrosteel/Sripipes/Jindal/Electrotherm) conforming to IS specification 8329/2000 and ISI marked suitable for flanged joints in good condition including transportation of D.I.pipe from production centre/company to the site at UT of Puducherry, lowering to the trenches(or fixing in over head tanks above ground level) laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment etc.,complete all as per IS12288 and CPWD specification . (earth work and jointing of pipes with rubber insertion will be paid separately) -500mm dia.

Providing and laying Ductile Iron Double flanged pipes of class K9 (Electro steel/Sripipes/Jindal/Electrotherm) conforming to IS specification 8329/2000 and ISI marked suitable for flanged joints in good condition including transportation of D.I.pipe from production centre/company to the site at UT of Puducherry, lowering to the trenches(or fixing in over head tanks above ground level) laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment etc.,complete all as per IS12288 and CPWD specification . Providing flanged joints to double flanged C.I./D.I. pipes and specials including necessary bolts, nuts, rubber insertion and testing of joints etc.,complete - 200mm diameter pipe.

Providing flanged joints to double flanged C.I./D.I. pipes and specials including necessary bolts, nuts, rubber insertion and testing of joints etc.,complete - 300mm diameter pipe.

Providing and fixing C.I. Butterfly valve (PN 1) conforming to IS 13095 and ISI marked, with bolts, nuts, rubber insertion etc.,complete (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately) - 300mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position flanged standard D.I. specials (Electro steel/Sripipes/Jindal/Kiswok) such as tees, bends, collors, tapers, caps etc.conforming to IS specification 9523/2000 and ISI marked - 100 to 300mm dia.

Supply and fixing of 300mm dia strainer.

Supplying of 3.5/4x50 sqmm 1.1 KV grade Armoured aluminium conduction cross linked poly Ethylene insullated PVC sheathed underground cable (Paragon/Suncab / Empire) complete suitable for 180 HP Pumpset.

Supplying and fixing of copper flat (25 x 3mm) for earthing arrangements including bolts and nuts etc.

Laying of UG cable and providing termination of cable joint with suitable cable gland,cable socket etc., complete - 3.5/4 x 50 / 3.5/4 x 70 sqmm cable.

Laying of under ground cable direct in ground including metal road cutting, excavation of earth, sand cushion, brick protection, back filling etc., complete. - above 50 sqmm.

Supplying of 3.5x240 sqmm underground cable (Paragon/suncab/Empire) complete.-(above 160KVA to 200KVA Genset).

Laying of UG cable and providing termination of cable joint with suitable cable gland,cable socket etc. complete - 3.5 x 240 sqmm cable.

Providing and fixing 50 mm dia GI pipe (Class B) conforming to IS 1239 (Part 1:1990) with GI fittings including trenching, refilling etc., complete for UG cable duct.

Making earth pit of G.I. pipe for earthing in earth pit with 40mm dia. G.I. pipe medium class of length 3.05m perforated with 46 Nos of 12mm dia. holes, pipe lowered in bore holes of 150mm dia. and filled in with charcoal and salt in alternative layer of 300mm, the top of G.I. pipe shall be clamped. Earth pit shall be provided with 60cm dia precast ring with 60cm depth alround,covered with R.C.C. precast slab etc. as per I.E. standards.
