INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS

Point wiring with multi-stranded copper conductor, single core, FRLSH PVC insulated and unsheathed cable, including FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor single core cable as earth continuity conductor to common earth and connected to earth dolly, with and including GI terminal boxes with 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover having necessary cutting for fixing switches/ sockets comprising the following: -

One light point controlled by one switch or one fan point controlled by one switch & fan regulator etc. or for bell/buzzer with 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC medium duty concealed conduit all as specified.

One Socket outlet three pin, 6 Amp, independent, with 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC heavy duty concealed conduit all as specified.

One socket outlet three pin, 6/16 Amp, independent, with 2.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 2.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC medium duty concealed conduit all as specified.

One socket outlet three pin, 6/16 Amp, independent, with 4 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 4 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC medium duty concealed conduit all as specified.

NOTES: (a) Switch(es) & socket(s) shall be measured & paid for separately under respective item of Schedule 'A'. (b) GI boxes shall be fixed flush to walls in position with cement mortar (1:4) complete all as directed. (c) Conduit shall be laid on surface in case of RCC ceiling surfaces.

Sub main wiring (with approved colour coding as per IS) with single core FRLSH PVC insulated flexible stranded copper conductor 1.1 KV grade (main cable: number of runs as indicated below along with single core FRLSH PVC insulated flexible stranded copper conductor 1.1 KV grade for earthing in conduits, complete all as specified for the following: -

2 runs of 2.5 Sq. mm main cable + 1 run of 2.5 Sq. mm earth cable.

2 runs of 4 Sq. mm main cable + 1 run of 4 Sq. mm earth cable. (150 Rm for ordinary & 300 Rm for flame proof wiring)

2 runs of 6 Sq. mm main cable + 1 run of 6 Sq. mm earth cable. (250 Rm for ordinary & 100 Rm for flame proof wiring)

NOTES: (i) Conduit & conduit accessories shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) For payment purposes, total runs of main cable (each run of one running metre) as mentioned above and one run (one running metre) of earth cable shall be considered together as "1 RUNNING METRE"

Rigid non metallic, PVC concealed conduit, 20 mm bore, medium grade, ISI marked, inclusive of all fitings (such as junction boxes, bends, elbows, tees, reducers, bell mouth tube ends) and all fixing acessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hook etc. for sub main wiring and the like complete all as specified. (500 Rm for sub main wiring & 200 Rm for earthing)

ERW rigid stove enamelled surface conduit 25 mm bore, ISI marked, inclusive of all fitings and all fixing acessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hook etc. for flame proof sub main wiring and the like complete all as specified.

Sheet metal enclosure for DB for fixing MCB’s, isolators etc., having IP-43 protection, suitable for surface and flush mounting, complete all as specified comprising the following: -

Flame proof point wiring with 1.5 Sqmm nominal area PVC insulated unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable in and including ERW rigid conduit stove enamelled surface conduit for one light point / Fan point / 6Amp multipurpose switch socket with and including necessary conduit acessories like flame proof junction box(es), bend(s), reducer(s) and unions etc, independent for one light point controlled by one (MCB) including 1.5 Sqmm nominal area PVC insulated unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable for earth wire to common earth and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified.

Flame proof weather proof rotary switch-socket and plug combination in LM6, three pin (two pole & earth) with cable termination enclosure box, 16-25 Amp rating, 250 volt, IN REPLACEMENT, complete. MAKE: Shyaam Switchgear Pvt Ltd. Cat No. SSPL/SS/1010 or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after.

Collecton of items like ceiling fans, exhaust fans, wall mounted fans, cabin/table fans, flame proof ceiling fans from EM store yard for repair, transporting to workshop, opening and reassembling after including necessary cleaning greasing oiling etc, testing and depositing back to EM store yard of GE (AF) Adampur including necessary loading unloading and transporting etc. complete. NOTE: Supply only spares & rewinding of fan(s) shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BoQ.

Rewinding fan of any description with super enamelled copper winding wire of size, gauge & weight as per original specifications providing insulating material and varnishing with synthetic varnish, oiling, greasing including replacement of bush/bearing, condenser, 'U' clamp with reel to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including taking out burnt winding wire after opening the ceiling fan and other unserviceable parts, of size: -

EARTHING & CONNECTED WORKS

Earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 4 Sq.mm GI wire earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.5.1 of contract, IN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT.

Earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 25 mm x 4 mm GI strip earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.5.1 of contract, IN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT.

Earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 32 mm x 6 mm GI strip earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.5.1 of contract, IN REPAIR/REPLACEMET.

NOTES APPLICABLE TO SERIAL ITEM 37 to 39: (a) The unit rate includes earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (b) Factory made PCC pit with cover shall be fixed at least 500 mm away from earth pit. (c) Earth resstance shall be less than 3 ohm. In case the test results are not found less than 3 ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

Earthing with and including copper earth plate electrode 3.15 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 20 mm x 3 mm copper earthing strip complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.5.2 of contract, IN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT. NOTE: (a) The unit rate includes earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (b) Factory made PCC pit with cover shall be fixed at least 500 mm away from earth pit. Maintenance free chemical pipe-in-pipe earthing electrod as per HEX Cat No. HSPG-503-100 (using hot dip galvanised pipe) or equivalent in TRUEPOWER including necessary excavation & earth work by making bore of 80 mm dia and 3500 mm in depth, all as recommended by manufacturers and connecting to earthing strip with necessary nuts, washers and bolts, IN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT, complete.

Maintenance free chemical pipe-in-pipe earthing electrod as per HEX Cat No. HSPC-503-100 (using copper plated pipe) or equivalent in TRUEPOWER including necessary excavation & earth work by making bore of 80 mm dia and 3500 mm in depth, all as recommended by manufacturers and connecting to earthing strip with necessary nuts, washers and bolts IN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT, complete.

NOTES APPLICABLE TO SERIAL ITEM 41 & 42: (a) Earth resistance should be less than one Ohm. In case the test results are not found below one Ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost to Govt . (b) Pipe earth electrod shall be inserted into the bore and spece around will be filled wth Back Fill Compound TERRAHEX of M/s HEX or equivalent conforming to IEC 62561-7 & RoHs2 standards. (c) Pit & cover shall be of precast PCC of size as per manufacturers recommendation. (d) "Performance Guarantee" as mentioned in PS clause 19.5.5.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified, IN REPLACEMENT, with & including the following: -

Copper strip of size 20mm x3mm.

GI strip of size 25mm x4mm.

GI strip of size 32mm x6mm.

Aluminium strip of size 25mm x3.15mm.

NOTES: (a) Strips to be fixed with porcelain/polymer insulators at the intervals of 0.6 metre so as not to be in electrical contact with building structure. (b) Brazing shall be done on both sides (overlapping) at all joints except test point.

Earth continuty conductor galvanised iron main earth lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles/DBs or any other directed location, IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified, of size: -

Salt (quantity recommended by Engineer-in-Charge) pouring into earth pit thrugh watering pipe by mixing the same with water to maintain earth resistance value of earthing within permissible limit complete.

Charcoal/coke powder (quantity recommended by Engineer-in-Charge) pouring into earth pit through watering pipe by mixing the same with water to maintain earth resistance value of earthing within permissible limit complete.

Magnesium sulphate chemical (quantity recommended by Engineer-in-Charge) pouring into earth pit thrugh watering pipe by mixing the same with water to maintain earth resistance value of earthing within permissible limit complete.

Brazing/soldering on both sides (overlapping) to the metal strip of any size provided as earthing lead including dismanting the old from the existing position/ equipment without disturbing the functional requirement and reconnecting complete .

Reinforced cement concrete, type A-1 (1:1½:3), using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in precast earth pit & cover 100 mm thick of inner size 300 mm x 300mm & depth not less than 450mm reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4 kg/Sq.m and fixed on directed location IN REPLACEMENT of existing broken cover complete all as specified.

Medium grade GI tubes, with necessary GI fittings laid in floors / wall complete all as specified, IN REPLACEMENT, of size -

GI light grade 40 mm bore tube, ISI marked, cut to piece of 1.00 metre length, fixed verticall from bottom in & including PCC(1:2:4) type B-1 block of size 200 mm x 200 mm x 150 mm including necessary form work, fixed to air termination rod with necessary bolts, nuts as required, complete all as specified.

GI light grade 50 mm bore tube, ISI marked, cut to piece of 1.00 metre length, fixed verticall from bottom in & including PCC(1:2:4) type B-1 block of size 200 mm x 200 mm x 150 mm including necessary form work, fixed to air termination rod with necessary bolts, nuts as required, complete all as specified.

DISMANTLING/DEMOLITION WORKS

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete with batten, casing caping of MS or and PVC conduit on surface or concealed, including switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, mild steel terminal boxes etc., removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces due to taking down etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge, complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium sub main wiring complete, including existing batten/conduit consealed/surface etc., removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces due to taking down etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge, complete all as specified.

Dismantling of unservisible existing DBs of any description with all accessories and MCBs, isolators etc. and making good surface as per existing, complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully light fitting of any description, complete all as specified.
