Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by any State Government / Government of India /Union Territory.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of KPP Portal on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Conditional tender will not be Considered

The successful bidder has to make his own arrangements for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials contractor should procure only. ISI mark materials and obtained necessary quality control certificates from the authorized quality control authority

The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons

Tender processing amount will not be refundable

The Bidder have to produce all the original documents whenever employer calls for verification

The Bidders have to furnish their existing commitments and on going works in the enclosed formats.

The tenderer should maintain the work in good condition during defect liability period for 1(ONE) year from the date of completion of work at his cost

Transportation charges for the conveyance of all the samples collected for testing from the site of work to Q.C.Lab shall be borne by the contractor himself.

Contractors who have not completed the works in time in this division will not be entitled to Bid and if participated it will not be considered .

During the execution of works, if any minor minerals are required, contractors have to abide by the prevailing rules and Acts applicable to Minor Minerals. As per the prevailing rules, for any use of Minor Minerals, the contractor has to submit the Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) obtained from Mines and Geology Department. If Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) is not submitted by the contractor along with the bill, the prevailing penalty DMF contribution as per Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession rules 1994 (as ammended from time to time) will be deducted from the contractors bill.

The contractor should obtain the Mineral Dispatch Permit for stone, aggregates, sand and murrum etc will be used in the construction work from the Mines and Geology department at the time of execution and same should be submitted along with the work bill, then for such work bills no Royalty will be deducted. If the contractor failed to submit the Material Dispatch Permit along with the work bill Five times Royalty will be deducted from the work bill as per KMMCR 2016 amendment rule 44(4) and the circular vide No.Ga.Bhu.E/DCB/DCB/Takte/2019-20/4497 Dated : 12/12/2019 by Mines and Geology department.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The Tenders are invited as per Standard tender Bid Document KW-2

All relevant documents as per the KW-2 need to be uploaded while submitting bid in general documents provision in KPP portal

The contractor prices includes diversion, approach road for procurement of materials, dewatering etc. No claims shall be done for extra items/cost for the same

The Intended Completion Date for the whole of the work is 11 months.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

The scope of the work includes Construction of retaining wall work

Annual Turnover certificate, IT Returns and Balance sheet certified by CA with UDIN number for the last five years i.e.2018-19 to 2022-23 has to be enclosed.

The Contractor has to establish Site Laboratories and should have all the required lab testing equipments for mandatory tests as stated in Clause (8) of Special condition in Standard Bid Document KW-2.

The successful bidder has to provide and fix Name Board near the site indicating details of the work .

Detailed Nomenclature of the works can be obtained from the bid document uploaded with this tender and it will be the final.

The Bidder shall quote the rates by adding 18% GST for either materials or works contract (Service). All other duties (including recovered from the contractor bill) taxes and other levies payable by the contractor under the contract or for any other cause shall be included in the total tender price submitted by the tenderer

IT and GST will be deducted as per Government order

The work is reserved for Scheduled Tribe contractors only. For which necessary Caste certificate is to be uploaded.

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Tribe as prescribed in the tender document.

The contractor belonging to Scheduled Tribe shall be domicile of the state of Karnataka for more than ten years (10 yrs) and should furnish necessary documents issued by the competent authority.

One percent of the bill amount of the successful tenderer will be deducted towards cess as a labour welfare fund
