85974 SPECIAL REPAIRS TO STAVELY ROAD, CARRIAPPA ENCLAVE, LAWRENCE ROAD UNDER GE (SOUTH) PUNE

M&L for repairs to pot holes of any depth not exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer (grade VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10Sqm putting in and providing premixed bitumimous macadam, not exceeding 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.0% binder content of bitumen (grade VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete depth of pot holes not exc. 30mm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (NOTE : Quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per design mix approved by GE.)

Preparing of old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 2.5 Kg per ten square metre complete all as specified and directed.

Providing Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen (VG -30), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Mixing of SDAC shall be carried out in Hot Mix plant and laying, spreading of BM shall be carried out uniformly by using automatic type sensor paver. (ii) The design mix for BM considering bitumen content as specified shall be carried out from any one of the Institution as specified in particulars specifications & cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. (iii) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE. (iv) The binder content specified is minimum. Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. (v) Contractor shall submit the authenticated weight batch receipt as per load material in site duly marked vehicle No.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, not exc 50mm deep and removing scarified material to a distance not exc. 50 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

Providing Premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consolidated thickness 75mm with 4.0% paving bitumen of grade VG-30, binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required gradient & camber using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair retro reflective sign board of size 120cm x 90cm or 90cm x 120cm (not exc. 12 Sqft), rectangular or pentagonal shape, fixed both sides on board made of aluminium composite panel (ACP) sheet of 3mm thick fixed on SS-304 series hollow tubular section, 38mm dia of 2mm thick on 20mm square tube of 1.25mm thick SS-304 (not exc. 600mm C/C) to be fixed on both ways to support the ACP board. The board shall be sheated with high intensity retro reflective sheet of blue colour or of any colour as approved by GE, the letters shall be computerised designed writing letter / figures in (Block, Roman, Italic style or in Indian languages where required) / index hands (natural size) / arrows / stops / Commas / short lines / dashes / hyphens bracket, holograms etc where necessary shall be made high intensity reflective sheet with in white colour letter, shape and sizes as required and approved by GE. The sign board to be supported on 2 (Two) post of 60mm dia and 2.5 mm to 3.0mm thick SS-304 series, exc. 3m and not exc. 4m in height with round moulded design cap on top. Pipes of the boards to be fixed in ground with PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in post holes of size 45cm x 45cm x 75cm depth (post holes and concrete included in quoted rates) including removing of unserviceable sign board of any type and description from site complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs un-breakable traffic convex mirror of 40 inch dia fixed over and including 50mm bore S304 pipe of length 1500mm incl embedding in PCC 1:4:8 of size (0.45 x 0.45 x 0.50 m) type B-1 including necessary excavation, removal of soil incl removing of old unserviceable trafffic mirror of any type and size and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : The sample and make of Convex mirror are to be approved by GE as per the ground requirement, before procurement by Contractor.

M & L for preparation of New / Old Road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of 2.5 mm thick as in centre line and edge line, zebra crossing, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc, road marking of 150mm / 100 mm width using 'Hot Application' white or golden yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads, pigments, such as Titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate inter filler, thermoplastic requirment for glass beads shall beconfirming to MORTH specification (BS 3262-1989) including spraying of glass beads etc all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.
