REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE LT/OH U/G CABLE NETWORK AND ALLIED WORKS AT AFS MOHANBARI UNDER GE (AF) MOHANBARI (2nd Call)

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation etc or for trench for laying under ground cables, poles, stay assemblies etc and getting out in Soft/loose soil, making the surface plain complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide but exc 1.50 m but not exc 3.0m in depth for foundation, poles and stay assembles etc in soft loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation etc or for trench for laying Galvanised Iron pipes used for cable protection and getting out in Hard/Dense soil, making the surface plain complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for disconnecting unservicable under ground LT cable of any size/type from existing pole or building or any location including removing of dismentalled material from work site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Laying LT under ground XLPE cable of size 10 sqmm, 2 core including testing and commissioning insulated, screened, PVC bedded, armoured steel strip or wire armoured, electric cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminium conductor,1100 Volts grade in trenches/on wall/poles laid in ducts/inside protection pipe including cable glands,lugs and suitable size of MS saddle clips (where ever cable laid in ceilings / walls without cable duct) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Excavation,sand cushioning,brick will be measured and paid separtely.

Supply and Laying sand coarse dry as in cushioning of underground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 cm thickness all complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Only punned down thickness of sand shall be measured for payment.

Material and labour for well burnt brick sub class 'B' of size 230 x 115 x 75mm having crushing strength 75 kg/sqcm best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 25 mm bore, galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separately)

Note for Item no. 24 & 29 :- Cutting of faulty cable/joint is deemed to be included in the above quoted rates.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of swaged steel tubular street light poles 9/11 meters height including GI pipe of of street light fittings by scrapping up old corroded paint/dirt/dust/rust and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of metal primer and marking zebra crossing up to height of 1.5 m above the coping with blue and white strips of synthetic enamel paint including writing pole numbers and two coats of color washing on PCC coping complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old plastered or unplastered surfaces of Prestressed concrete poles and applying two coats of cement base paint, white or tinted over one coat of alkaline resistant primer including writing pole numbers and two coats of color washing on PCC coping complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and installation of steel tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-31 (9 mtr long) complete with Cast Iron base plate and finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws including dismantaling of old poles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Excavation, earth work and PCC only will be measured and paid separately, all other accessories and other works deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted by the contractor.

Material and labour for stay assembly with accessories in replacement as shown in electrical plate No.1 including 20 mm dia rod, loop type insulator and stay clamps complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Demolition of existing concrete, excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced ) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for in roof any thickness including removing rubbish from worksite outside MD land at any distance complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for foundation of poles, stay complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4), using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in pedestal coping including necessary formwork finished fair using extra cement .complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs anti climbing device; spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars ( round, square and flat ) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs LT lightning arresters for outdoor use, non linear resistor type, horn gap and choking coil, maximum working pressure 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs danger notice plate 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white , with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps , bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT , 20x15 cm size complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in Charge

Supply and Fixing in repair rigid non metallic PVC conduit of dia 20 mm including of all Tee, bend, elbow, reducer, and fixing such as coupler lock, nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for restraining of LT over head ACSR conductor from pin, disc, shackle insulators with suitable binding wires to insulators including dismantling of existing ACSR conductor for restraining and refixing same with connecting in position to LT poles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for restraining of cradles, hexagonal/rectangula, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4 mm dia from LT poles including dismantling of existing galvanised steel wire for restraining and refixing same with connecting in position to LT poles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs Cradles, hexagonal/ rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4 mm dia. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs of LT over head ACSR conductor ( squirral/weasel type) from pin, disc, shackle insulators with suitable binding wires to insulators including dismantling of existing ACSR conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs Insulator Pin type, porcelain , vitreous, white , brown or green, insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut , 100 mm height, 65 mm dia. For 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs Shackle type, Porcelain vitreous , white, brown, white or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps washers, insulator bolts, washers and nuts ; 1100 Volts working pressure, 75 mm height, 90 mm mm dia., with 31x5 mm galvanised steel straps and 14 mm dia. of bolts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling taking down old cross arms, clamps, braces etc of any section from pole including nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note - Cost of cutting of bolts (Slag bolts) if reqd shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

M&L Mild steel cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers , welding, bending, cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts , in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat with red oxide Zinc Chrome and two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs of Vice type connectors consisting two brass plates, and two steel bolts and nuts for 2 conductors of equal or unequal sizes, for non tension connections including treatment of connector and ACSR conductor with conducting jelly complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs of Vice type taps, consisting of two brass plates and one bolt and nut for connecting 2 equal or unequal size conductors for service wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 6 sqmm twin core cable flat or circular stranded conductor 1100 volts grade heavy duty PVC insulated aluminium conductor served with inner sheating of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 meter apart including 4 mm suspension wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 10 sqmm twin core cable flat or circular stranded conductor 1100 volts grade heavy duty PVC insulated aluminium conductor served with inner sheating of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 meter apart including 4 mm suspension wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs PVC separator, suitable for 4 wire LT overhead lines at any height complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixed in repairs PVC separator, suitable for 2 wire LT overhead lines at any height complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in repair HOT moulded (FRP) SMC junction box for street light pole with locking arrangement hinged door with IP-65 protection of size 250 x 200 with 32 Amp 4 way heavy duty terminal block with 10 Amps MCB SP and two steel bracket to fix with pole complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in repair 1100 volts heavy duty round sheathed multistranded three core bright annealed bare copper conductor of size 1.5 sqmm for electrical connections to street light fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cutting/trimmimg dead or excess branches from trees or shurbs to maintain clearance alongwith over head power lines using climbing equipment and collecting the debris for disposal and removing the broken limbs from electric wire by using hooked extension poles Note : Span is taken as distance between two adjacent poles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below normal ground level )with the top edges of plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level connected to GI wire 4mm by means of GI nuts, bolts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and earth lead protected by 15mm dia GI pipe light grade and connected to main distribution board/earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part 1 and all as specified including testing on completion. Notes:-The unit rate also including for excavation, earth work in any type of strata, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 mix , type B1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @150mm C/C both ways ,GI funnel with GI watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade ,wire mesh, protection pipe 15mm dia GI pipe light grade for earth lead upto 7.50m long complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
