Servicing and Repairing of 220 KV SF-6 Circuit Breaker

Repairing / servicing for arresting of air leakage from pneumatic machenism system & overhaulling of 245 KV SF-6 ABB make Circuit Breaker of 150 MVA T/F HV side at 220 KV S/S Firozabad.

Work consist of:

In all three nos seprate poles pneumatic chamber

Dismantling the complete pneumatic drive mechanism assembly from the breaker structure and dismantling its parts.

Overhauling of driving mechanism along with replacement of overhauling kit of o rings, gasket and k slot rings.

Overhauling of magnetic valve along with replacement of complete overhauling of gasket / k slot rings

Overhauling of control block along with replacement of gasket, k slot ring.

Fill air upto specified value and check no air leakage

Check and tightening of all connection in the marshalling box

Check Satisfactory close/trip operation of the breaker both by local and remote.

Attending of SF-6 Gas leakage from pole along with overhauling of mechanism arresting of 245 KV SF-6 CGL make CB type 200-SFM-40S of CB Sr. No 33280C of 160 MVA T/F at 220 KV s/S Firozabad under ETD Firozabad.

Detect pole leakage by SF-6 gas leakage detector, extract SF-6 gas from pole unit by help of SF-6 gas extraction plant and store it into empty SF-6 gas cylinder, dismantling pole units pole panel and opening the pole joint and fixed contact chamber from the pole clearing of fixed and moving contacts, polishing the contacts and applying micro carbon grease on contact surface, replace poles O ring P-170, absorbent and re-filling the same, attending the air leakage from control valve, apply vacuum in all poles by help of vacuum pump up to specified value and keep it for 8 to 10 hrs & check no leakage of vacuum, complete overhauling of spring charging mechanism assembly, cleaning, lubrication, dismantling of close & trip coil assembly, opening its parts, cleaning lubrication and adjustment of air gap of this plunge, checking electrical connection in the marshalling box and tightening all electrical connection and replacing compressor belt with proper size, check close/trip operation for proper functioning of breaker, check close & trip timing by digital timer etc. for satisfactorily completion of above work including all men, materials, consumable items and T&Ps.
