Earthing of Electrical Gadgets Plate earthing of electrical equipment/ gadgets at site (Stages 2nd) as per IS 3043. The equipment which is proposed to be installed now shall be earthed and equipment previously installed but not earthed shall also be earthed.The earthing of the equipment involves following processes:

Earthing with G.I. earth plate 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering B-class GI pipe of 2.7-metre-long of 50 mm Dia etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required to get the required earthing resistance value.

GI strip for earthing Supplying and laying 25 mm x 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring washer etc. as required.
