M&L for Cleaning of underground RCC sump of capacity 50000 gallon with the following process,complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (i) Dewatering the sump by using submersible pump and sludge pump which empty the tank up to base level.(ii) High pressure jet cleaning:- Cleaning of manhole of the tank, inside wall/ceiling of RCC sump with the help of high pressure rotary jet (Dirt killer) of capacity with variable pressure of 50-140 bars to remove the calcination (Fungal) layer.(iii) Removing sludge from the tank:- The sludge and infection sahll be remove from walls, Ceiling & bottom of the tank sahll also to be remove with the help of special sludge pump and remaining dirt which may have hidden in rough slots of the bottom of the tank have to be sucked with special Industrial Vaccum cleaner, so that, the tank is totally dirt free. (iv) Disinfection of the tank:- Cleaning of walls/ceiling with fresh water and biodegradable anti bacterial agent. (v) Sterilization of the tank:- After complete cleaning apply ultraviolet sterilizer having a Virocidal wavelength to ensure perfect disinfection of the tank.(Note:- Tools & Plant or machiney required for cleaning of sump shall be arrange by contractor at his own cost,nothing shall be paid extra on this account).

M&L for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 3 mm buried directly in ground (earthpit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level,connected to & including copper earth strip of size 20x3 mm dia by means of GI bolts,nuts, washers and connected to other end to main boardduly protected by 15 mm bore GI light grade pipe from earth plate . Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of coal dust 300 mm and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. Watering pipe 20mm bore of GI medium grade pipe and including funnel, wire mesh,CI cover & frame, PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40 mm garded stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation & earth work all as specified & shown in electrical plate No 2 of SSR-I .Rate are deemed to include 7.5 mtr 20 x 3 mm size copper strip. NOTE:- PCC/HDPE chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 m away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner .
