Refurbishing the Moot Court in New Academic Block of SMVDUCAMPUS , KAKRYAL

Providing and fixing of wooden platform stage shall be constructed to a height of 2.5feet (750mm) from the finished floor, using a sturdy and well -braced framework made of seasoned Kail wood sections of size 4 inches x1.5 inches, duly treated for anti- termite and moisture resistance. The structure shall be supported on solid wooden legs of size 3 inches x 3inches, placed at appropriate intervals to ensure uniform load distribution and structural stability. The top surface shall be finished with 19mm thick BWP 710 grade ply wood conforming to IS standards, fixed securely to the framework with proper levelling and alignment. All joints shall be flush and the surface shall be even, smooth and prepared for final finishing as required.

Providing and fixing of wooden railing shall be provided at a height of 2.5 feet above the stage level and shall be made from high quality seasoned sheesham wood. The railing shall consist of a robust frame with members of 3 inches thickness, including vertical, posts and horizontal supports designed in a traditional courtroom style as per approved design. (spacing of post will be of 200mm C/C).The entire assembly shall be rigidly fixed to the stage/floor using heavy- duty screw or fastener to ensure maximum strength and durability. All joints shall be properly crafted, tight-fitted and finished with smooth edges to achieve both safety and aesthetic appeal.

All wooden railing surface shall be finished with high quality melamine glossy polish in a walnut colour theme. The surface preparation shall include sanding with appropriate grades of sandpaper, followed by application of wood filler to achieve a uniform and smooth base. The polish shall be applied in a minimum three coats with intermediate sanding between coats to ensure a refined finish. The final surface shall be smooth, glossy, and free from any visible defects such as brush marks, bubbles, or uneven patches. Ensuring durability and resistance to wear and moisture.

Acousticalwall panelling: Providing and fixing of G.I Frame work paneling as per design, drawing consisting of floor channel of size 50x32x32x0.5mm thick at bottom and top fixed with 35mm nylon sleeves and 35mm screw. Further fixing GI stud 48x34x36x0.5 mm thick@600mm c/c vertically. The framework to be filled with 50mm, 1000GSM non-woven thermal bonded polyster wadding. Finally fixing over it horizontally 80x26x51x0.5mm thick G.I ceiling section placed @600mm c/c or where ever required as per design and drawing with dry wall screws and soffit cleats 27x37x25x1.6mm as required. The frame to be fixed to the wall by means of angle hold fastener cleats of required size complete with required metal screw fixed on each vertical member @100mm c/c etc. as required all complete as per the direction of Engineer -in -charge. 12.5mm thick Gypsum plaster Acoustic Board (petal) with at least 15% perforation backside acoustical fierce duly fixed on the G.I frame as mention above to get NRC 0.7.

Providing and fixing of laminated 8mm thick with toungh and groove interlocking system of size 20cm wide x1200cm long teak shade along with underlayer foam of 2mm thick fixed with chemical adhesive, complete work. The quality of the tile and shade shall be approved by the Engineer Incharge.
