Dismantling and removing PQC and approach slab (up to 100 mm thickness): Careful dismantling of existing PQC/approach slab up to 100 mm thickness by approved mechanical/manual means, ensuring no damage to the underlying panels or structural components. The dismantled concrete shall be collected, loaded, transported, and disposed of/scrapped at an approved location up to 10 km lead from the site, including all labour, tools, plants, safety & environment measures, and complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying M40 grade concrete Providing, transporting, and placing M40 grade cement concrete from an approved RMC plant, including supply of all materials, labour, equipment, and shifting to site. Laying, compacting, finishing, and maintaining proper levels, lines, and slopes of the CC wearing coat, including texturing, groove cutting (extra), curing, and all incidental works required to complete the item as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, cutting, bending, binding, and placing of 10 mm diameter TMT FE 500 bars at 150 mm center-to-center spacing both ways for wearing coat raft reinforcement, including cost of binding wire, supports, chairs, laps, wastage, and all handling, transportation, and incidental works—complete in all respects as per drawing, relevant IS codes, and instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Reinforcement bars from the approved make shall only be used. Safety measures and quality checks shall be implemented during all stages, ensuring high-standard reinforcement for structural integrity.
Removal of existing wearing coat over the approach slab: Careful dismantling and removal of the existing wearing coat over the approach slab using approved manual/mechanical methods, including cleaning, collection, loading, transportation, and disposal of dismantled material to an approved dumping location. The work shall include all labour, tools, equipment, safety & environment measures and complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
