PETTY REPAIR FOR ATTENDING DAY TO DAY EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY COMPLAINTS AT KABUL LINE SANYAT LINE TIGRIS ROAD AND SUMRAN LINE KARAM VIHAR AND REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE AND ALLIED WORKS IN THE AREA OF AGE U WS NO II UNDER GE U WATER

Attending day to day external water supply complaints of all nature i.e. leakage in water supply pipe lines, fittings/fixtures, over flow of overhead tank, no water supply including noting the complaints in complaint register complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Material required for attending complaints shall be measured & paid separately under respectvie items here-in-after.

Attending external Electric supply complaints of day to day maintenance of existing LT panels including connecting electrical accessories/spares of water supply installations, electric fittings with lights, short circuits in pump house including noting the complaints in complaint register complete all as specified and as directed.. Note :- Material required for attending complaints shall be measured & paid separately under respectvie items here-in-after.

Notes for Srl No. 1 & 2 :- The rates quoted by the contractor shall also deemed to be included for the following :- (i) The complaints shall be attended and the defects shall be rectified by a team of experienced one Electrician and two Plumber as applicable assisted with adequate number of helpers, matriculation passed qualified having minimum 03 years experience . (ii) The complaints shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 1000/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from his dues. (iii) In case, after checking & attending the defect, if it is not possible to rectify the defect within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-charge by the contractor/his rep. If Engineer-in- charge is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will be made.

(iv) While attending the complaint of water supply/Electric supply if earth work is required then the same shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of Sch 'A'/BOQ. However no extra payments shall be made for dewatering. (v) Cutting of GI pipe in position and threading is also deemed to be included in the job quoted rates (Fittings and fixtures shall be measured and paid separetely under respective items of Sch A/BOQ). (vi) All T&P required for attending the complaints shall be provided by the contractor without any extra. (vii) The pipe fitter shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters,Taps, Pipe wrench ,Chain wrench, Caulking tools, complete set of spanners and ladders etc..,as required at site. (viii) Old retrieved material shall be the departmental property and shall be deposited in the MES stroe yard on the same day. (ix) The electrician shall always be in possession of all electrician tools, LT megger, Earth tester, multimeter, crimping tool, insulation tape, hand gloves etc. as required at site.

Testing of drinking water collected from local source (bore wells /shallow wells in the area of AGE(U) W/S No.II and submission of detailed test report to the office of Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 10500-2012 mandatory for chemical colour, odour, taste, turbidity, PH value, TDS total hardness, iron, chloride, fluoride and residual free chlorine and Bacteriological total coliform organisms per 100 ml (MPN) and E Coli in 100 ml) with specific recommendation regarding suitability of water for drinking purposes. (ii) Collection of water from different sources of water i.e. Sump, bore wells & shallow well in a sterilized bottle and testing in NABL Approved laboratory as mentioned in specification Note :- Rate Quoted shall also deemed to be included for the followings:- (i) Cost of sterilized bottle as required. (ii) To and fro transportation charges for collection of samples from source (sump, bore & shallow wells)

Excvation in trenches not exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep for pipe line in soft/loose soil, getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material from site to a distance not exc 50 m away and depositing where directed not exc 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Boring holes under road pavement by bocky manually/mechanically in any type of soil upto 200 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing of uneven surfaces of the natural ground, rough excavated surfaces and filled area where ordered shall be trimed to an even surface horizontal or slopping, by removing vegetation and by scrapping high patches and filling low patches with the scrapping soil to given an even and neat look to the site. depth of cutting not exceeding 15 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour work required for taking out suction pipe 80 mm to 200 mm bore from sump of any capacity, dismantling of foot valve screwed / flanged type, and relowering after refixing in position the same duly cleaned / minor repair if any required such as replacement of rubber gasket/ lifting bolts & nuts including making thread for the suction pipes off sizes etc complete all as required and as directed.
