Construction of Head works

Cutting Light jungles and trees up to 10 cm girth including uprooting of roots and stumps and removing them from the site of works etc complete as directed.

Earthwork in excavation of foundation of Headwork in all types of soils as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoils by head lead to a safe distance from the working watering, breaking clods to not more than 10 cm cube with compensation all complete as directed place & depositing required spoils in uniform layers, dressing, at site (including bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary). B) Soil mixed with gravel and boulder upto 30 cm size (for normal lead of 30 m & lift of 1.50 m)

C.C. work in prop 1:3 : 6 with aggregate of size 13 mm to 38 mm free from dust dirt and other foreign materials including rodding / vibrating bailing out of water where necessary & curing with supplying of all materials complete as directed (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clean water should be made at site)(machine mixed) a) With river shingles- iii) With shuttering & without dewatering-

Reinforced Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 2: 4 with aggregate of size 6mm to 20mm free from dust and dirt and other foreign materials including roding (vibrating), bailing out wate where necessary and carrying with supplying all materials complete as directed.(Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site.) a) River shingles-iii) With shuttering & without dewatering-

Supplying, fitting, fixing and laying of M.S. rod/ Tor steel of all sizes in position as per design and drawing as required including cutting ,cranking and making hooks with necessary lappages and tying with black wire complete as directed.

12 mm thick cement plastering including clearing surface and curing etc. complete as directed. in prop. 1 : 4

Collection and supply of one man size 23 to 30 cm hard river boulder including loading, unloading, stacking in measurable stacks at work site paying forest royalty etc. complete as directed.(Dist. of work site from quarry= 50 Km average)

Labour charge for pitching with one man size boulder including dressing and ramming the seat to proper size and slope with voids filling and local carriage of boulders from a distance of 50 m with lift upto 3 m complete as directed.

Earth work in back filling of structure with earth obtaining from outside borrow pits, filling with 15cm layer ramming, dressing and compaction and watering including paying compensation of land, if any with lead up to 30m and lift 1.50m complete as directed.

Supplying and laying of filter bajries in the gaps between the cement concrete protection block complete as directed. (6 mm to 20 mm size aggregates Considering average distance from quarry to the work site = 25.00 Km)

Construction of Cofferdam ( 2 Numbers)

Construction of whole bamboo single pallasiding with matured Bhaluka bamboo post 7.5cm to 10cm dia 5cm clear apart 1.50m to 1.00m above ground and 1.00m to 1.20m below ground with Jati bamboo strut placed 1.20m to 1.50m apart tied with galvd. Wire of 16G to 18G and complete with three rows of horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies complete as directed.

Supplying and laying of empty cement bags filled with sand/ earth (as locally available) including stitching the mouth laying, fixing in position with supply of bags, sutlies etc. complete as directed.

Earth work in filling the marginal bund/guide bund/afflux bund/ canal embankment etc. to the design section and grade by obtaining earth from outside borrow pits and filling in 15 cm dia. and uprooting roots & stumps from the seat of embankment and borrow pit area, breaking clods to not more than 10 mm cube, ramming, watering, dressing and roughing seat of embankment , profiling etc. paying compensation of earth borrowed from private or forest land if any, lead upto 30m and lift upto 1.50m complete as directed. (a) Ordinary Soil.

Removal of Cofferdam:----Earth work in excavation in irrigation canal to the design section and grade by depositing the spoils in the form of embankment in 15cm layers on both the banks as necessaryincluding clearing light jungles, removing trees up to 15cm, uprooting roots, stumps from the seat of embankment and canal bed and free from all vegetation including breaking clods not more than 10mm cube ramming, dressing and roughening the seat of embankment with lead up to 30m and lift upto 1.5m complete as directed.

Construction of Diversion Channel

Earth work in excavation of Diversion / feeder channel to the designed section and grade by depositing the spoils in the form of an embankment on either side to the designed section and grade in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungle and trees upto 15 cm dia, uprooting roots and stamps from the seat of embankment and canal bed free from all vegetation including breaking clods not more than 10mm cube ramming, dressing, bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary complete as directed with lead upto 30 m and lift 1.5m. a) Ordinary soil :

Earth work in back filling of structure with earth obtaining from outside borrow pits, filling with 15cm layer ramming, dressing and compaction and watering including paying compensation of land, if any with lead up to 30m and lift 1.50m complete as directed.

Desilting & construction of bank protection works

Collection and supply of one man size 23 to 30 cm hard river boulder including loading, unloading, stacking in measurable stacks at work site paying forest royalty etc. complete as directed.(Dist. of work site from quarry= 50 Km average) Boulder for sausage-

Construction of boulder sausage with hexagonal/squere netting of 8 G gald. Wire mesh not more than 15 cm triple twisted for sausage work including supplying and laying with 18 G wire after filling up the cage with boulder in proper slope and size as per design and drawing filling the voids including providing one row of whole bamboo horizontal runner along the top of the surface with vertical Bhaluka bamboo post 1.50 m apart driven at least 0.60 m below ground and tying with sausage etc. complete as directed.(Including the cost of wirenetting and excluding the cost of boulder including dewatering if necessary with all local carriage of materials.)

Earthwork in excavation in foundation of structures by means of Hydraulic excavator in all soils including mud,silt,sandy clay from the river bed etc. including clearing the side,dressing etc. and removing the earth by loading to dumpers for further carriage to a safre distance complete as direted.(0.30 CuM bucket)

Carriage of excavated earth by dumpers with a lead upto 2 Km unloading to a safe place as directed including spreading dressing etc. complete as directed.

Construction of RCC Canals

Earthwork in excavation in foundation of canal structures in all types of soils as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoils by head load to safe distance from the working place and depositing the required spoils in uniform layers, dressing, watering, breaking clods to not more than 10 mm cube with compensation, complete as directed at site. (Including bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary). (A) All types of soil except soil mix with gravel & boulder

Providing one flat brick soiling in floor etc. including filling the interstices by soil packing, ramming etc. complete as directed.

C.C. work in prop. 1:3:6 with aggregate of size 13mm to 38mm free from dust, dirt and other foreign materials including rodding/vibrating, bailing out of water where necessary & curing with supplying of all materials complete as directed (temporary arrangement for obtaining clean water should be made at site) (Machine mixed). River Singles : (iii) With shuttering & without dewatering. At base of canal bed

12mm thick cement plastering including clearing the surface and curing etc. complete as directed in prop. 1:3. Inner side of canal

Earthwork in all soils in canal embankment & bed filling as per designed section and grade by truck carriage for a minimum distance of 4 KM including paying compensation of earth obtained from private, if any loading, unloading and stacking at not more than 1.00 M height and spreading the same in embankment in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees upto 15 cm dia & uprooting roots & stumps. etc. from the seat of embankment, breaking clods to not more than 10 mm cube, ramming, dressing, roughening the seat of embankment, profiling etc. with all lead and lift complete as directed

Turfing with green grass sods of largest possible rectangles of minimum size of 30cm x 30cm x 10cm including ramming, dressing, pegging & watering till the grass grows together with carriage of the same by bullock cart beyond 90m lead & upto a distance of 1km and lift 2.5m complete as directed.

Construction of Approach Road

Collection and supply of sand mixed gravel contains 40% of sand and 60% of river gravel of size 13 mm to 38 mm free from all foreign materials including carriage from quarry to the work site loading, unloading and stacking in measurable stacks as directed by the department (Including paying of forest royalty and sales tax etc.) Distance of work site from quarry @ 25 Km

Labour charge for spreading of hard river gravel/broken stone/sandgravel mixture of size of gravel 13 mm to 38 mm to the required thickness including ramming and dressing the seat before laying the materials as directed complete including all carriage etc.
