Improvement of Bada Bazar Old NH-5 to Via- Brahmun Dhamana street, Odia Dhamana Street, Sankha Bandha, PHD, Old Jayashree Main Road to Potagada of Ganjam NAC from 0/329 km to 1/551 km

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness incluidng labour & T&P required etc complete as per the OPWD Specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000m. incluidng labour & T&P required etc complete as per Technical Specifications and Clause - 301 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works.

Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150mm, compacted at OMC to achieve minimum dry density conforming to Table 300-2 as per Technical Specifications and Clause - 305.3.4 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision).

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 as per approved Drawing & Technical Specifications & direction of Engineer in Charge and Clause -305 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Construction of Granular Sub-Base by providing Grading-VI material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 etc complete and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and filling in foundation trenches and plinth, ditches with sand well watered and rammed in layers not exceeding 23 cm. in depth with all lead and lift including cost, conveyance, loading, unloading, royalties and of all materials, cost of all labour, sundries, T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as per OPWD Specification and directed of the Engineer-In-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregates to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the materials with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed materials by tipper to site laying in uniform layers with Paver in sub-base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density etc complete and as per OPWD Specification and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.20kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause no.501.5.2, 502 of MoRT&H specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge

Providing & laying Semi Dence Bituminous Concrete of grading -2 using crushed stone Gr.-2 materials & 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen, preparing preemixed materials with hot mix plant (100 to 120 TPH), transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501 and 508 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision).

Construction of dry lean cement concrete Sub-base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceeded 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per Table 600.1, cement content not to be less than 150kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site,laid with a paver and compaction with vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per Clause 601 of MoSRT&H Specifications of Road & Bridge Works (4th Revision)
