4	M & L for removing RCC cover slab of septic tanks of various capacities and taking out scum/sludges including foul water and collect the same in closed container and depositing in earth pit of sufficient size and depth in any type of soil within the defence land where directed by Engineer-in-Charge to a distance exc 500m and not exc 1.5m, returning and filling in earth in excavated pit after complete disposal of scum /sludges chamber inlet and outlet pipe, MS rungs, septic tank cleaning with fresh water and applying one coat of bituminous paint on steel surfaces such as MS rungs, handle, inlet and outlet pipes etc, and filling tank with fresh water upto level as directed placing the RCC cover slab in position and set in CM 1:6 including cleaning the sewage line from last manholes to septic tank complete all as specified and as directed.	20	Cum	-	-
5	M & L for removing of filter bed/ soakage well etc by removing the filter media into scum/ sludges in foul position n.exc. 1.5 m deep and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.	5	Cum	-	-
6M & L for cleaning the blockage manually by rodding, pumping and removing the deposited sludge/solid/ liquid, materials outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed:-
