Notes for Ser No 2 to 74:- The rate quoted by the tenderer shall inclusive of the provision as mentioned under Note Ser No. 01 to 05 here-in-after the tenderer are advice to keep in mind these provisions while quoting his rates. 1. The tenderer has to bring the consumable material which loose their identity like synthetic enamel paint, French Polish, OBD, cement base paint, plastic emulsion paint, Lime, exterior emulsion paint, etc well in alogn with original purchase voucher as per sample approval by GE as under. These material when brought by the tenderer shall be checked by BOO as detailed by GE and shall be kept in custody of concerned JE and rep of contractor with double look arrangement in store room. The material shall be issued on daily basis as per site requirement. A Pucca bond register shall be maintained by the contractor showing total quantity in hand, quantity issued and quantity incorporated in the particular quarter which shall be initiated by both the party i.e JE and rep of contractor:- (i) 25% of total reqd material as per CA provision within 10 days from the date of commencement of work. (ii) 25% of the total reqd material as per CA provision within 03 month from date of commencement of the work or earlier as per site requirement. (iii) 25% of the total reqd material as per CA provision within 06 months from the date of commencement of the work or earlier as per site requirement. (iv) Balance 25% of the reqd material as per CA provision within 02 month before the date of completion or earlier as per site requirement. (v) Engineer-in-charge/ JE shall ensure the above provision is followed before commencement of the work at site.

2. The Qtr for welcome maintenance shall be handed over to contractor as per vacation/ allotment of Qtr and users requirement. After handing over the Qtr, the tenderer has to complete the work within 07 days for normal repair and 15 days for major repair as decided by Engineer-in-Charge which includes Sunday/ holiday. Necessary panel recovery shall be made Rs. 1000 per day if the qtr not handed over within the above stipulated time after handing over of Qtr. A Pucca bond register shall be maintained at site showing Qtr No, date of vacation, date of handing over the Qtr, proposed date of completion and actual date of completion which shall be got signed by the occupant/users. 3. Every stage like preparation of surfaces, first coat, second coat/ final coat of finishes shall be got passed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4. The replaced fitting of fixture which have been replaced under this contract shall be intimated to BSO for incorporating in inventory before handing over the Qtr. 5. The contractor shall cover all the furniture item while doing painting and other repair work, clean the entire house including paint marks on joinery items, glass panes, cupboard etc with entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge before handing over the key back after welcome maintenance. 6. All the above documents shall be produced for verification at the time of payment of each RAR/Bill.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls, etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 5 mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 in ceiling on concrete surface finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparaing newly plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 15 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 on brick or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L preparaing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Preparing new plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion, white or tinted over a coat of alkali resistant priming coat complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Complete removal of existing treatment from walls through electrically operated grinder/ Sand paper/ steel patti washing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparion of old decorated surface such as filling of holes with suitable filler material like cement, plaster of paris etc. and applying 3mm thick wall care putty to obtain desired finish, grinding the surface with sand paper & levelling of surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion, white or tinted over existing prepared putty base surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparion of old decorated surface as filling of holes with suitable filler material like cement, plaster of paris etc. and applying three coats of white wash as in walls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Complete removal of existing treatment from ceiling through electrically operated grinder/ Sand paper/ steel patti complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old wooden surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cms width or girth and apply one coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old Steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cms width or girth and apply one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushing scraping down smoke soot moulds moss and efflorescent salts and treating oily & greasy spots and filling of holes and cracks with suitable material like cement or plaster of Paris etc and there after applying one coat cement base paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of walls/ceiling and applying one coat of exterior emulsion pain (weatherproof /Apex) including scaffolding arrangements upto two/three storey, trestles, ladders etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair 32 mm dia ISI marked (good quality) MS Drappery Rod (rubber coated), with fixing brackets, side knobs etc (any colour/ any pattern) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repairs elegent PVC mirror cabinet without towel rail of size 400 x 500 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repairs EWC seat cover (closed pattern), white/Off-white, fixed with chromium plated or aluminiumised hinging device complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair CP Brass health faucet with hand shower and 1.5 mtr flexible stainless steel pipe of good quality suitable for fixing to 15 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Hacking out old broken glass of any thickness, size, quality or description from n exc. 0.50 sqm in each pane metal frame glazed with oil putty or fixed with beads including punching or out old glazing pins, spring clips, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F, Sheet glass 4 mm thick , ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty or wooden beads in squares not exceeding 0.50 sqm in each pan complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F 4 mm thick Figured glass , pin headed type in squares not exceedig 0.50 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair stainless steel wire cloth, 0.36mm nominal dia or wire and Sqm average width or aperature 1.40mm, fixed with stainless steel wire staples complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from internal surfaces of walls or a part thereof (In Patches ), area exe 1.00 Sqm but not exceeding 3.00 Sqm, which is damage due to seepage or any other reason & preparing and levelling the disturbed surfaces by using wall care putty to obtain even and smooth wall surfaces of that portion and than applying two coats of oil bound distemper complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(b) New conduit of suitable size with connected fitting will be laid if there is a damage/blockage in existing conduit including making good to disturb surfaces with CM 1:3, same surface finished with the adjoining surface of disturbed area and the rates are inclusive of quoted rates.
