Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to out side the MD land to a distance exc 1.5km and not exc 5.0 km and providing following :- (a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/roof tiles on roof including removing debris to out side MD land as directed. (b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials such as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required, and then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of average thickness of 50mm. (c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement. (d) Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried. (e) After the primed surface has dried, apply a coat of hot blown bitumen(85/25 penetration) confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface. (f) Providing APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 4kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surface with 100mm over laps, the overlap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete. (g) Over the APP membrane, apply evenly a tack coat of hot air blown bitumen of grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sqm including cleaning of surface. (h) Applying a coat of aluminium paint at the rate of 100 gm per sqm as per manufacture instruction over bituminous layer complete all as directed. Note : (i) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 59 & 60 :- (i) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (ii) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil all as directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws dismantling of any type of sheets in roof coverings complete all as specified & directed.

Note for pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensure that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.

(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

(iv) The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers for each lot for verification of Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Hard core of broken/crushed stone aggregate of gauge n.exc 63 mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), laid in 1:20 slope as in hardstanding/ path including making joints @ 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness and rubbish material shall be disposed off to out side MD land complete all as specified and as directed. M&L taking down rolling shutter of size not exceeeding 6 sqm area, straightening of curtains, making good of edges, guide channels, necessary riveting/welding, repairing to hood cover, rotating shaft and refixing the same after repair, greasing the guide channel to make smooth functioning, replacement of steel spring, ball bearing etc if required complete all as specified and as directed.
