NOTE: Schedule 'A' Part-XIV (MISC B/R, E/M SERVICES) Note : This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col. 5 siginifies this fact only.

Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes etc. for area filling/ forming embankments including raising (any height from existing GL)/lowering by approved earth and including raising earth spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer, watering, compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished to required size and shape etc, any high/depth from EGL. Notes : (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from out side MOD land of any lead, at his own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES schedule Part-II on serial page No.21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment/traverse of filled earth after consolidation/compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (iv) Total quantity / partial quantity of earth may not be available in Likabali area. The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quoted the rate considering availability of soil and its lead involved.

Material and Labour for thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of 2.50 mm minimum thickness of single coat in centre line, edge line and zebra crossing road marking of 150 mm width on bituminous surfaces in white/yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine including glass beads conforming to BS-6088 and MOST specifications including cleaning all dirt, scales, grease and foreigh material etc. complete all as specified.

Shower rose fancy type chromium plated 125 mm size with swivel joints suitable for 15 mm bore pipe including shower arm chromium plated 15 mm dia, 195 mm long with bend of 45 degree.

Supplying, assembling, jointing and lowering 6 mm wall thickness 200 mm diameter (internal) ERW MS housing pipes, heavy duty conferming to IS : 4270-2001 (Steel tubes used for water wells) and fixing in position (including necessary cleaning internal and external surfaces and painting inside and outside of pipes with two coats of anti corrosive black bituminous paint suitable for drinking purpose over a coat of zink oxide primer) in different depth as directed, plain ended, jointed with heavy duty suitable size collar with welding as directed complete surrounding the pipes all as specified and as directed.

Supply assembling , jointing and lowering 6 mm wall thick 200 mm internal (low carbon galvonised) (LCG) 'V' wire cage type strainer pipe conferming to IS -8110-2000 of slot 1 mm and fixing in position (including necessary cleaning internal and external surfaces and painting inside and outside of pipes with two coats of black paint suitable for drinking purpose over a coat of primer) in different depth as directed and welded with MS pipe and jointed with heavy duty suitable size collar and with butt welding surrounding the pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, assembling, jointing and lowering 5.40 mm wall thickness 200 mm diameter (internal) ERW MS 6.00 m long, bail plug made by 150 mm diameter ERW pipe and one end closed by 6 mm thick MS plate welded and fixing in position (including necessary cleaning internal and external surfaces and painting inside of pipes with two coats of anti corrosive black bituminous paint suitable for drinking purpose over a coat of zink oxide primer) and fixed at bottom of casing pipe plain ended, jointed by suitable size socket with full welding complete surrounding the pipes in both ends to made leak proof all as specified and as directed.

Supply and placing pea gravel packing of suitable size of gravel 3 mm to 6 mm as per IS around the housing assembly and slotted pipe of bore well complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Measurement of pea gravel shall be taken in measuring box at site & the same shall be record in MB duly signed by Engineer-in-Charge before packing sorrounding the tube well assembly (From the total volume 10% of the volume shall be deducted & net volume thereafter shall be considered for the purpose of the payment).

Yield testing for the tube well by suitable method for minimum discharging capacity of 25000 LPH for at least continuous 8 hours in interrupted run per day for three continuous days complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) "V" Notch & other equipment included diesel driven pump set including fuel shall be arranged by the contractor at the own cost.

Testing of water for all parameters, chemical and bacteriological aspect including Arsenic & flouride test (As per IS 10500:2012) from Regional Research Lab Jorhat / Defence Research Lab Tezpur or any Govt. Approved / recognized laboratory as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing well cap in two parts out of MS plate 5 mm thick for covering tube well internal dia 200 mm x 100 mm depth duly welded with locking arrangement, including making holes for passing 2 runs of 6 Sqmm flat submersible cable & one run of support chain complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing steel chain made out of 6 mm dia (Link size 20 mm x 38 mm) with PVC coating for holding submersible pump set/column pipe including necessary holding (MS) clamp, nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, tesing and commissioning of electric driven submersible pump set suitable for operation on 415 volts 3 phase for 200 mm dia bore well for discharge capacity 25000 LPH at 66 meter head with suitable capacity motor, including suitable capacity star delta starter and including PCC foundation and channel of size 100 x 50 mm complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) Incase the pump specified above does not suit for the yield of water in bore well, the pump shall be re-designed subject to price adjustment.

The work shall be measured and paid as applicable rates in MES Schedule Part-II (2010) adjusted by the contractor's percentage quoted by the tenderer for provisional sum. The items not available in MES Schedule shall be priced in terms of condition 62(G) of IAFW - 2249 and in that case percentage quoted by the contractor shall not be applicable for that particular items.
