Schedule Q-2 (Work)

Repairing and Strengthening of damaged and rusted 01 No legs on tower no 29(DA+0) of 220kV Double Circuit Nara- Muzaffarnagar and Nara- Jansath lines involving following work will be done including all labour, T&P, Material (except Gal. Tower parts and nut & bolts) and associated work to complete the Job including taking photograph of tower leg & chimney after excavation & after completion of work . (a) Excavation of earth around the chimney 0.8 mtr to 1.20 mtr deep and 1.0 to 1.2 meter dia. Breaking the chimney 0.4 mtr to 0.8 Mtr below the ground level and 0.2 to 0.3 Mtr above the ground level including removing of earth & cleaning of rust from the stub and apply zinc rich allu. paint on rusted portion of stub after applying one coat of red oxide for making suitable lap joint to each stub. (b) Making of 2 Nos. cleats of 0.8 to 1.20 Meter for legs suitable for inner and outer surface of stub from galvanized steel angle of suitable size provided by deptt. by cutting and drilling of holes etc. (c) Fixing the inner and outer cleats on damaged and rusted stub by making suitable holes on stub and providing 16 to 20 Nos. 16 mm nut, bolt & washer as per site requirement (Nut, Bolt & Washer will be provided by the Deptt.) by making suitable holes corresponding to cleats & proper tightening. (D) Applying of two coat anti rust paint on repaired stub (Approx length of each stub 1.00 to 1.20 Meter)

Remaking and increasing chimney height of 1 leg of tower no 15(DA+0) 220 KV D/C ABC type tower of Nara-Muzaffarnagar and Nara- Jansath line up to length of 0.8 to 1.30 Meter in CC ratio 1:2:4 by using coarse sand & 20 mm grit after providing & fixing of 04 No 16 mm 0.8 to 1.20 meter steel bar including binding by 5 to 6 No. 6 mm steel bar ring and after placing proper shuttering. Including back filling of earth and proper curing for 10 days & after removal of all shuttering.

Erection of super structure of 220KV DC towers Including all works above ground level and fitting of danger , number & phase plate, Bird guard etc but excluding hoisting of insulator, hardware & accessories.

Tack wedling of all the bolts up to the height of one section or 5 Mtr. from ground level whichever is higher with three tacks of 10mm/12mm electrode & application of Zinc rich point on the affected surface including cost of materials.

Lowering down the Zebra conductor including de-hoisting of all the necessary hardwares & accessories between Section to Section Tower of all the six power conductors. (For DA+0 Type Tower)

Laying, stringing, tensioning clamping, jointing etc of ACSR 'Zebra' conductor including hoisting of insulators, fitting of all necessary hardware and accessaries i.e. fittings Armour rods, vibration dampers etc. on all Six phases of 220 KV DC lines.

De-Stringing of OPGW between section to section tower. (For DA+0 type tower)

Installation, Laying of links etc. of 48 fibre (DWSM) OPGW Fibre Optic Cable alongwith all necessary Hardware sets excluding Jont box.

Sorting/counting/stacking erection mark wise and safe loading, carriage and unloading of 01 No 220kV double circuit A type tower structure (approx. 4.2 MT) in truck/ trailer.

Carriage of material from store to site & site to store

Dismantalling of A type tower including all required T&P and accessaries.

Making of 03 Nos. inverted U shape machhan/platform arrangement by using wooden/Bamboo balli & other associated material for keeping the conductor up to required height on both side roads to facilitate the traffic to pass during laying, stringing & Re-stringing work of ACSR zebra conductor.
