Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The intending tenderer is instructed to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the standard tender documents KW-1 K.P.W.D. and further orders there on.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

All necessary paper works, etc. and any other formalities required to be observed shall be the responsibility of contractor.

Whenever executing authority insist proof of having purchased the materials (used during executing the work) for verification. The contractor shall produce the purchase bills.

The contractor is responsible for safety and security of all materials.

All hard ware materials used for work shall be of hot dip galvanized as per IS wherever necessary.

It is the responsibility of the contractor to pursue and obtain all necessary approvals.

The Contractor shall submit to the employer, for his review and approval, all shop drawings, samples, materials lists, equipment data, instruction manuals, record documents, manufacturers equipment manuals, and other information required by the Contract Documents, before use and execution and before bringing the material at Site.

The bidder should obtain the approval from the Govt. Electrical inspectorate/BESCOM/KPTCL for successful commissioning of the DG set. However the statutory fee will be paid by Dept. after receipt of intimation from the respective authorities.

The Original Documents must be produced at the time of opening of Technical Bid, attached for the eligibility of technical qualification criteria, for verification.

Tenderer should not damage the building while erection of D.G. set, If any damages made, tenderer should make good of it, without any charges.

The successful Tenderer has to arrange factory inspection along with the departmental office on his own cost. The equipment has to be tested at factory in presence of departmental officials before dispatching the material from the factory to the worksite.

As per Karnataka State Government order No. LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and G.No. PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27.7.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted welfare fund.

The tenderer shall obtain the work done certificate in the prescribed format from the competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer (District level Officer) and scan the original Certificate and attach the scanned file Certificate/ Certificates shall be produced at the time of opening of tender for physical verification.

The tenderer shall scan the original ownership document/ lease / hire commitment Agreement scanned file to the Bid. The Original Documents shall be produced at the time of opening of Tender.

The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason.

The tenderer should furnish Qualification and experience of the key technical and Management personnel in permanent employment with the Tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this work, if work is awarded.

The start date for this work has to be considered from the date of issue of work order.

Tenderers must provide insurance to all the employees executing this work.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing Karnataka Public Procurement Portal.

The Laboures deployed shall mandatory wear the face mask, Electrical safety hand gloves and take all safety measures to protect laboures and staff.

The Agency Should Coordinate with Civil Work.

The agency should consider necessary ladder etc required for fixing Electrical times.

The agency considers all labours required for fixing items.

The agency should inspect the site before quoting the tender.

As per the Govt Order No PW2BMS2019 Bangalore Dated 19-06-2019 the applicable GST shall be paid to the tenderer for PWD SR Items only.

The Contractor must obtain the necessary approvals as per the Pollution Control Board norms

The Legal & Environmental Management System (EMS) Control Clause has to be followed by the contract.

Technical Criteria

3.2To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in its name should have in the last Five years i.e. 2021-22 to 2025-26. b) Satisfactorily completed (at least 50% of the contract value), as prime contractor, at least one similar work i.e., Supply installation, testing & commissioning of DG Set and connected Work in total of Value not less than: Rs.4.80 Lakhs in a single work.

Capabilities of Vendor

The tenderer as a Prime Contractor having valid Class-2 & above Electrical License issued by Electrical Inspectorate Govt. of Karnataka and should have suitable technical, financial & managerial capabilities.

3.6Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under/ Assessed available tender capacity - (AxNx2.5 - B ) Where, A-Maximum value of construction works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated 2026-27 price level) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited. (03 Months) B - Value, at 2026-27 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next. (03 Months) (period of completion of the works for which Tenders are invited) Note: The statements showing the value of existing commitments and on-going works as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works listed should be countersigned by the Employer in charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent

3.2To qualify for award of this contract each Tenderer in its name should have during last five years ie from 2021-22 to 2025-26 a) The tenders must have achieved in at least two financial years an average annual financial turnover of an amount Not less than Rs.9.59 Lakhs during last five years. with UDIN Number certified by Chartered Accountant, Note: The returns submitted to the I.T. along with the Profit and Loss account statement, Balance sheet should be uploaded for the financial turnover criteria
