Pavement

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders Construction of subgrade with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. For Earthen shoulder

Construction of Granular sub-base ( GSB -II ) by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, applying and brooming sand to fill up the interstics of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

WBM Grading II by manual means; Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to Water Bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, handpacking, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming,stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 of Specification of Rural Roads including lighting,guarding,barricading etc complete.

WBM Grading III by manual means; Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to Water Bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, handpacking, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming,stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 of Specification of Rural Roads including lighting,guarding,barricading etc complete.

Prime Coat with Bitumen Emulsion of Medium:Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.9 to 1.5kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502.of Specification of Rural Roads.

Tack Coat with Bitumen Emulsion:Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 of specification of Rural roads.

20mm thick Open Graded Premix Carpet using bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder Providing Laying & rolling of open - graded premix carpet of 20 mm thk composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates eighter using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade & level to serve as wearing course on previously prepared base, including mixing in suitable plant, laying rolling with a three wheeler 80-100 KN capacity static roller, finished to required level & grades to be followed by seal coat on either Type A or Tupe B or type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508. of Rural Roads including lighting, guarding, barricading etc. complete Case- I by manual means (i) Bitumen (S-90)

Seal Coat: Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in bituminous surface laid to specified levels, grade and crossfall using Type B using Bitumen (S-90) as per Technical Specification Clause 510 of Specification of Rural Roads.

Traffic Signs and Other Road Appurtenances

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised informatory sign on aluminium plate of size 600mmx600mm as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mmx75mmx6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450mmx450mmx600mm, 600mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801
