Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres. [HSR 6.6]
Cement concrete 1:4:8 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth [HSR 10.38]
First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:6 in first storey up to 4 meters above plinth level. [HSR 11.7]
Base course of floors consisting of 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:8:16 and 100 mm sand or stone filling [HSR 14.1].
Precast chequered tiles of 20 mm thickness in ordinary grey cement without chips laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 with neat cement slurry between joints and over the base in floors, treads of steps and landing. [HSR 14.45]
12 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 [HSR 15.5]
Repair of expansion joint upto 50 mm wide by provided / doing following operations (a) Surface preparation: 1) Cleaning the joint edges should be sound and free from grease oil contamination. If spelled, it should be rectified properly by using polymer mortal or epoxy mortar. 2) Use backer rod as a backup material is used to adjust width to depth ratio and falling of sealant while application. 3) Fix a bond breaker tape over the backup material to prevent third surface adhesion. 4) Fix a masking tape on both sides of joint surface to get neat & clean appearance of joints after application of sealant. (b) Priming : Prime only on two sides of the properly prepared joint surface with Dr. Fixit pidiprime A by brush and allow it to dry for minimum 20 minutes.(C) Application of Sealant: Apply the sealant at both the bottom corners till in the centre and level it off. (D) The top flashing with flexible tape strip of approx. 250-300 mm wide with suitable bonding adhesive on either side of the expansion joint, to allow for the movement at the expansion joint location etc., Complete.
