Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of soil, not exceeding 2 meters depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil as directed within a lead of 30 Mtrs. (HSR 6.6)

Construction of embankment, for replace of sub grade upto 500 mm km 301.000 to 307.000 km with soil of minimum CBR 8 % (4 days soaked) of obtained from borrow area with any lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by engineer the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than the actual quantity (less than 15775.00 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 15775.00 cum, then only 15775.00 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached section-5 of DNIT. Note:1.) Excavated earth shall be used only on berms.

Disposal of surplus earth after use on berm with all lead and lift including loading and unloading as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing & laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S. grade-1) on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer-in-Charge complete in all respects as per clause No. 502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & Laying 75 mm thick compacted Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (DBM) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 505 MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th edition) 2013 using minimum 4.50% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respect including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.(NS) Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing & Laying 40 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPA and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen in0struction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing and laying 100 mm thick ISI marked interlocking paver blocks conforming to IS 15658:2006/IRC: SP 63-2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-50 over a bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 10.160) (HSR 10.160)

Fixing old pre-cast RCC M-30 Jersey Barrier in central verge at RD 301.00 to 302.750 complete in all respect including transportation and placing in position as per direction by the Engineer-in-Charge. (RCC M-30 Jersey Barrier will be provided by the Deptt.) (NS)

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -5. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.
