D-commissioning/ Isolation of 04 MVA, 33/11 kV Power Transformer to re-access its health by an electrical expert within the yard in presence of departmental Engineers by performing Non-destructive tests like ratio test, resistance test and IR test using testing equipment like Turn Ratio Test Meter, Mega/ Micro Ohm.

Lifting/ Removal of 04 MVA, 33/11 KV power transformer from the transformer bed if tests are found unsatisfactory by engaging 40T capacity Hydraulic crane and shifting the same by way of pick and carry and dragging to the safe site and making necessary arrangements for covering the working site to restrict ingression of any unwanted dust/water droplets etc. for physical assessment of damages if any. The job involves hiring of 02 labours for handling of equipment, monitoring its movement on crane for safe handling of the transformer.

Draining out available Transformer oil from the tank and storing same in the empty barrels, Dismantling the top lid of the Transformer after removing all fasteners including HT Bushings and connections from protective devices like Buchholz relay, oil and winding temperature sensors and accessing of any damages by an electrical expert in presence of departmental engineers. The job also includes quality testing of Transformers Oil. The job involves cost on account of hiring of 02 No workers/ labours along with required tools and tackles. After physical examination and servicing, the said transformer is to be reassembled to its original shape to prevent ingression of unwanted matter.

Topping of transformer tank by required gauge of T-0il (33kV) EHV grade confirming to IS:335

Filtration/ dehydration of old T-oil if required to bring its gauge to its required level.
