REPAIR/ CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINE, MANHOLES SEPTIC TANK, SOAK WELLS AT JUTOGH CANTT, KUFRI, MH SHIMLA AND SANJAULI UNDER GE (I) JUTOGH

Cleaning the septic tank/ sludge chamber of any depth/ area/ condition incl taking out stagnated sludge or any other material mixed with the sludge etc deposited in the septic tanks, filling in closed container, sprinkling fresh lime in and around septic tanks/ soakage wells to make it hygienic and removing the silt/ sludge & deposits out side of defence land in covered van/ Trolly complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) Cost of pumping with mechanical sewage pump and fresh lime shall be deemed to include in the rate quoted. (ii) Charges of covered container incl its transportation shall be deemed to include in the rate quoted. (iii) Depth of liquid sludge in the septic tank will be determined and recorded before commencement of work by any Engg conventional method in the presence of Engr-in charge and Contractor. (iv) If Contactor does not provide Suction jetting machine on requirement of above mentioned specifiacation with his staff as mentioned then a penalty at the rate RS 5000/- per day shall be levied on the contractor and recovery for the same shall be affected from contractor's till that day when Contractor provides above all mentioned for cleaning of Sewage Lines.

Dewatering the septic tank/ Soakage well/ Sludge chamber of any depth/area/condition incl taking out stagnated water or any other material mixed with the sludgey water etc, deposited in the septic tank/ Soak well/ Sludge chamber, filling in closed container and depositing in excavated pit, covering the pit at least 500m beyond nearby living accn or area as marked by station controlling authority with earth after depositing sludge, sprinkling fresh lime on covered pit and around septic tanks/ soakage wells to make it hygienic, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of sewage line upto first man holes by any means and removing blockage of WC, EWC, Bathroom, floor trap of WHB/ Kitchen pipe etc including first man hole by employing necessary resources including T&P at Jutogh Cantt, complete all as specified and directed. The location/ building/complex where work is to be carried out consist of the following:- (a) All OTM and Md Accn at Jutogh Cantt. Notes:- (i) The Contractor will employe a Supervisor. The Supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE daily to give feed back and also to receive day to day sewage Complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the contract. (ii) He will carry out normal maintenance to sewage system as required at site. (iii) For any default/delay in attending the complaints recovery 1000Rs/day shall be effected as per contract conditions provided here-in-after. (iv) T & P as requiered for the work shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the deptt. (v) Supervisor engaged by the contractor shall take all necessary preventative safety measures and adequate precautions to avoid any health hazard and department shall not be held responsible for any unwanted incidence.

(vi) For each complaint in location a docket slip shall be prepared by MES representative and handed over to related tradesman, etc. for attending the complaint and after satisfactorily completion of complaint, docket slip shall be submitted to concerned JE on day of register of complaint, which shall be got signed from the occupant and shall be produced at the time of payment to be made to the contractor. (vI) Format of docket slip and complaint register which shall be kept in complaint cell. Stationery i.e. log sheets, docket slips, job cards, complaint registers, handing taking registers, etc. shall be provided by the contractor without any exta cost to the department and cost thereof shall deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor against respective item of schedule 'A'. The complaint slip shall be prepared by the contractor or his authorised rep and handed over to the tradesmen and necessary entry shall be made in the complaint register and will be handed over to to concerned JE / the Engr-in-Charge next day. Contractor shall maint seprate register for lodging the complaints and the same shall be produced to concerned JE/ Engr-in-Charge on next day.

Cleaning of drain of any shape and size of removing sludge, soil, mud, grass and vegetation roots removing from site to distance exc 50 m etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of grass, shrubs, vegetation, bush weed by brush cutter operated slasher where ever required including removing waste of material obtained from cutting and cleaning (both side) from the edge of drain & bldg surrounding area and removal of spoil beyond 250 mtr but not exceeding 500 mtr and deposited where as directed complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Contractor will arrange his own 02 brush cutter machines and minimum 02 operator & 02 helper with POL per day comprises of 08 hours working including lunch break of 0.50 hours. (ii) The minimum output of brush cutter for one day is 150 Sqm, hence area of 150 Sqm will be after removal of spoil up to the entire satisfaction. (iii) Site for brush/grass cutting will be given by MES authority as per their requirement through out the contract period.

Removing spot blockage of WC/ Nahani trap/ gully trap incl cleaning of sewage line/ manholes up to and incl 1st manholes and disposal of material obtaining from cleaning to a distance exc 200m, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to trap leakage/ seepage of EWC 'P'/ 'S' trap by filling hollow space with white/ grey cement as per site requirement, complete all as specified and directed.
