PMJTS20014-Development of lawn area at NRPL Bharatpur.

Site cleaning Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in-equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, disposing of rubbish and soil not suitable for gardening out of plot area to an unobjectionable area as directed by Site Engineer. The roots of the trees shall be removed and earth levelled and rammed complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer.

Supply good earth for lawn Supplying and filling good earth for lawns & in plantation area, in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth in one operation including removal of debris/ un-wanted material, consolidation, dressing, levelling and watering etc. complete as per direction of the Site Engineer/ Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Volume of earth to be calculated for the payment shall be the volume of stacked earth after reduction by 20%).

Grassing Trenching in ordinary soil up to a depth of 10 cm, refilling the excavated earth after breaking clods & mixing with manure in proportion 8:1(8 parts stacked volume of earth : 1 part of stacked volume of manure of approved quality) flooding with water, filling with earth, if necessary including levelling etc. (supply of manure included). Grassing with doob/grass in rows of 5 cms apart in either direction including watering and maint. for 30 days complete for making lawns free from weed etc. including supply of water. Note During this period if the grass dies at some place, grassing will be done by contractor at his own cost.

Hedging Trenching in ordinary soil up to a depth of 10 cm, refilling the excavated earth after breaking clods & mixing with manure in proportion 8:1(8 parts stacked volume of earth : 1 part of stacked volume of manure of approved quality) flooding with water, filling with earth, if necessary including levelling etc.(supply of manure included), planting, hedging and shrubbing in 60 cms width in rows, including watering and maintenance for 30 days complete for raising edges. Note During this period if the grass dies at some place, hedging will be done by contractor at his own cost.

Grassing Maintenance Maintenance of lawn grass for six months including watering at least thrice in a month, cutting, trimming, removing grass, vegetation including labour and all materials, tools and tackles etc. complete as directed by Engineer in Charge. Unit of measurement for payment is per sq. meter per month note: during contract period if grass dies then replantation of the hedge is to be done by contractor at his own cost

Hedging Maintenance Maintenance of hedges for six months including watering, removing of foreign vegetation, grass etc. complete in all respects including supply of tools, tackles complete as directed by the Site Engineer. Unit of measurement for payment is per meter per month note: during contract period if hedges dies then replantation of the hedge is to be done by contractor at his own cost.

Tube Well Construction of tube-well from ground levels and up to 150 Meter depth to accommodate housing and assembly pipe in all types of alluvium strata by boring of dia 300 mm by percussion/ rotary drilling method and with gravel as per IS:4097-1967 and packing as per IS:2800 (Part I -& II) 1979 as amended up to date (The work includes the cost of gravel & its primary packing and packing during development, lowering of housing & strainer assembly pipes, with supply and wrapping of coir-rope, wherever necessary for arresting fine sand particles. The work will not include cost of housing pipe and strainer pipe assembly and development work, but work would be completed after obtaining sand free water)

Providing and fixing Bail plug/ Bottom plug of 150 mm dia to the bottom of pipe assembly of tube well as per IS:2800 (part I).
