CIVIL WORKS

I. REINFORCEMENT & STRUCTURAL STEEL

Supply, Fabrication and Erection of Structural Steel work using Rolled Steel Joists, Beams, Channels, Plates, etc., at all levels above and below plinth level including supplying of steel sections and plates conforming to BIS 2062 of make Vizag Steel, Tata, SAIL, Jindal Ispat or any other approved manufacturer using ingots of above manufacturer make, loading, unloading, transporting the steel to site of work, cutting, fabricating using welding/bolts, using weld rods of make D&H, Advani, Philips or its approved equivalent and/or bolts and nuts from approved source, erecting using derricks/pulleys/cranes or any suitable means, fixing in position and painting with one coat of approved red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint as per manufacturers Specifications of make Asian Paint, Berger, Johnson and Nickelson, Nerolac, cleaning the sections /plates by suitable means, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Using rolled sections

Using Plates /Chequered Plates including MS insert plates/ embedded plates/pipes in medium quality conforming to relevant BIS codes of required shape and size, welding anchoring legs not less than 12mm dia MS rods, placing in position in concrete while casting, including painting with one coat of approved red oxide zinc chromate primer as per drawing in line, level and plumb complete as directed. Note :- Anchoring Legs will be paid under relevant items

II. BRICK MASONRY :

Brick work using quality flyash bricks of class designation 7.5 conforming to IS12894 using cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116 ) at all depths and heights below and above plinth level including pilasters, steel / tubular scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc., complete as per specifications and as directed in super structure.

Half brick masonry using non modular fly ash bricks of class designation 10, conforming to IS :12894 in partition walls in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 using crushed stone sand of grade conforming to BIS 2116) all depths and heights below and above plinth level including scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, etc., complete including providing stiffeners of reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, 115 mm x 75 mm size at every 900 mm height, necessary formwork, curing, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed but excluding reinforcement. Note:- Reinforcement will be paid under relevant item.

III. PLASTERING AND POINTING :

Cement plastering 6 mm thick for ceiling with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement :3 river sand) finished smooth finish with including hacking of concrete surfaces, preparation of surface, steel/tubular scaffolding, curing, etc., complete as directed.

Cement plastering 15 mm thick for internal walls in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 river sand) , and at all heights above plinth level over brick walls or concrete surfaces including making necessary grooves in between junctions of brick masonry and RCC and also other places wherever required over brick walls or concrete surface, preparation of surface, steel/tubular scaffolding, curing, etc., complete as directed.

IV. PAINTING:

Wall & ceiling painting with premium acrylic distemper, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour.of Asian or equivalent in Pidilite, Johnson & Nicklson, Nerolac, berger brand, manufacture and shade over two coats of approved primer at all heights above plinth level including preparing the surfaces, scaffolding and cleaning, etc., complete and as directed.

V. False Ceiling

Providing and Fixing 15 mm thick densified tegular edged eco friendly light weight calcium silicate false ceiling tiles of approved texture of size 595 x 595 mm of aerolite make or approved equivalent in true horizontal level, suspended on inter locking metal grid of hot dipped galvanised steel sections (galvanising @ 120 grams per sqm including both side) consisting of main ‘T’ runner suitably spaced at joints to get required length and of size 24x38 mm made from 0.33 mm thick (minimum) sheet, spaced 1200 mm centre to centre, and cross “T” of size 24x28 mm made out of 0.33 mm (Minimum) sheet, 1200 mm long spaced between main’T’ at 600 mm centre to centre to form a grid of 1200x600 mm and secondary cross ‘T’ of length 600 mm and size 24 x28 mm made of 0.33 mm thick (Minimum) sheet to be inter locked at middle of the 1200x 600 mm panel to from grid of size 600x600 mm, resting on periphery walls /partitions on a Perimeter wall angle pre-coated steel of size(24x24X3000 mm made of 0.40 mm thick (minimum) sheet with the help of rawl plugs at 450 mm centre to centre with 25 mm long dry wall screws @ 230 mm interval and laying 15 mm thick densified edges calicum silicate ceiling tiles of approved texture in the grid, including, cutting/ making opening for services like diffusers, grills, light fittings, fixtures, smoke detectors etc., wherever required. Main ‘T’ runners to be suspended using Upto 1.5m from slab/truss :- Using G.I. slotted cleats of size 25x35x1.6 mm fixed to ceiling with 12.5 mm dia and 50 mm long dash fasteners, 4 mm G.I. adjustable rods with galvanised steel level clips of size 85 x 30 x 0.8 mm, spaced at 1200 mm centre to centre along main ‘T’, bottom exposed with 24 mm of all Tsections shall be pre-painted with polyster baked paint, for all heights, including scaffolding etc. Above 1.5m from slab/truss :- Modified Hanger adjuster system Galavanised MS hanger rod 6mm dia fully threaded up to 1000 mm length, Galavanised MS L-shape level adjuster of size 85x25x2 mm, Galavanised MS 8 MM outer diameter M-6 dash fastener 50 mm long, 40 mm long S.S. screws with plastic rawl plug as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :-The rates quoted shall be applicable for all heights and shall include necessary scaffolding for doing the job.

Providing Gypsum board false ceiling of desired design (curved, flat etc.), and finish consisting of : i. "Gypsteel ULTRA" or approved equivalent false ceiling frame system including CRP surface ribbed components such as ceiling sections (0.5mm thick, 80mm wide, @ maximum 457mm c/c, fixed to intermediate channels with connecting clip), Intermediate channels (0.9mm thick, 45mm wide, @ maximum 1220mm c/c, suspended from the soffit with ceiling angles (25x10x 0.55mm @ 900mm c/c maximum, GI cleat and steel fasteners), perimeter channels (0.5mm thick, 27mm wide, screw fixed to wall/partition at 610mm c/c), including all fasteners, angles, connectors, clips etc. all complete ii. Single layer of 12.5mm tapered edge plain gypsum board conforming to IS 2095 screw fixed to ceiling sections with 25mm drywall screws @ 230mm c/c. Including jointing and finishing the boards for flush surface including filling and finishing with approved (as/ Manufacturer's recommendation) jointing compound, paper tape, finishing gap between wall and ceiling with POP, wire mesh , two coats of drywall top coat, providing necessary cut outs / trap doors with all necessary fiittings and finishing using two coats of luxury emulsion paint over two coats of primer and along with electrical/ AC/ Other fittings, fixtures, providing vertical ceiling boards, necessary additional framing components for cutouts/ vertical surface etc, all complete for all heights including scaffolding etc.. Note : Actual surface area (including vertical ceiling board area if any between false ceilings at various levels, excluding areas for cut-outs, openings etc.) of false ceiling shall be measured for payment. Note :-The rates quoted shall be applicable for all heights and shall include necessary scaffolding for doing the job.

VI. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS :

Providing and fixing expansion hold fasteners on C.C. /R.C.C./Brick masonry surface backing including drilling necessary holes and the cost of bolt etc complete.wherever necessary other than the one as per item 105.01 & 105.02 etc. complete as specified and directed.

NOTE :- The contractor has to provide double scaffolding at all heights as required and directed by EIC for the work without any extra cost. Recess/surface conduit wiring to light, ceiling fan, exhaust fan points from switch box/light fitting to light fitting/exhaust fan/fan and looping with in switch box of same circuit with 3X1.5 sq mm FRLS PVC insulated 1100 volt grade, standard copper wire in PVC/GI conduit with required junction boxes, bends, terminations and all other accessories for completing the job, conditions of tender, drawaings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Primary Light/Exhuast fan point : 3 No. 1.5 sqmm wires (P, N & E), from Switch box to the light/Exhaust fan point including 6 A switchwith, ceiling rose or angle/batton holder as per drawing. Note: Neutral wire can be laid from the nearest light/fan point of the same circuit.

Primary ceiling fan point : 3 No. 1.5 sqmm wires (P, N & E), from Switch box to the Fan point including 6 A switch, 2M step type regulator(100W) ceiling rose or angle/batton holder as per drawing. Note: Neutral wire can be laid from the nearest light/fan point of the same circuit.

(Any item weighing up to 1kg. or less shall neither be measured nor paid).

Supply and connecting individual equipment to the earth strip or earth plate with 25X3sqmm of G.I. strip including the supply of G.I. strip , lugs, conductors, connecting to the G.I. strip or earth plate and necessary hardware for connection, including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
