Preventive Maintenance and Servicing of 22/11 KV Power Transformer outdoor type by disconnecting carefully electric connection on primary & secondary side, Checking both side HT bushing, bushing rod, opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc, rectify the oil leakages issues, if noticed any, during servicing and re-fixing the top cover of transformer according to previous system. Servicing of the transformer must be done through OEM or authorised personnel including maintaining and submitting the inspection and testing records of each transformer to the Engr-in-Charge. Note 1. :- Inspection of transformer shall involve :- (a) Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts etc. (b) Checking all brazings, joints, tap heads, gaskets and connection joints. (c) Checking all terminations / connections inside/ouside the transformer. (d) Checking of off load tap changer assembly, checking the moving and fixed contacts for contact wear and connection to winding. (e) Conducting the test on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magnetic imbalance, short circuit, IR Value, High Voltage Test etc. in presence of Engr-in-Charge. Note 2. : Spares used e.g. rewinding of primary & secondary coils, Iron Core, bushes studs HT/LT, bushing rod HT/LT, transformer oil, filteration of oil, buchholtz relay, Gaskets set, Off Load Change over switch etc will be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. Note 3 :- The rates quoted against the item is deemed to be included for cost of Labour for lifting/transporting to civil workshop and vice-versa, if required as per site requirement.

M & L for collecting the sample of Transformer Oil from 11/0.433 KV Distribution Transformer of 50/63/100/125/150/160/200/250/315/400/500/750 KVA capacity and Make of Transformer : Kirloskar/Rajstan Transformer/Pactil/Mahati/Urja/CG/Voltamp, from various Sub Stns, inside NDA Campus and carrying out the Acidity Test according to IS Standard by Approved/ Authorised Laboratory and submit test result to the Engr-inCharge.

M & L for construction of transformer plinth, size 2.0 m x 2.0 m x 1.6 m for transformer by using 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 as in lean concrete, flyash brick masonary in CM 1:6, the top of the plinth shall consist of 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) over 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 over compacted moorum filling, 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on brick surface with and including 25 cm thick stone aggregates of size 12.5 mm all around upto and including 1.5 m from the adge of the plinth complete all as specified, including taking down existing transformer from Two Pole Structure by dis-connecting its HT/LT connection, nut, bolts, clamps etc and re-installed the same transformer at newly constructed transformer plinth with the help of suitable size/capacity of Crane including re-connecting its HT/LT Cable & Earthing Strip connection etc complete all as specified and directed at site by Engr-in-Charge. Note : During this job, if any damages occurred to the transformer, Contractor shall be fully responsible to make good without any extra cost to the Department.

M & L for MS 'C' Channel, MS Work, Angle Iron, Hand rails, half round or other steel work, drilling, bolting, cutting and welding etc conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including fixing and clamped on Two or Four Pole structure with suitable size of nut, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of existing surface of transformer by scrapping down peeled off old paint, cleaning etc and applying one coat of smoke gray paint by spray to the following capacity of transformer complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement Aluminium Busbars electrolytic grade suitable for 11KV/440Volts, Current rating and KA rating as per site requirement and interconnected links shall be insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeve with RYB & Black colour coding. The bus bars shall be supported on unbreakable, non-hygroscopic SMC insulated supports at sufficiently close intervals to prevent busbars sag and shall be housed in a dedicated compartment. The size and thickness of busbars shall be as per sample including drilling, cutting and suitable size of galvanised or cadmium plated high tensile nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as directed.

Labour for tree branch cutting of high rise trees, overhanging/interferences to the Two/Four Pole Structure GODs (size of tree branch approx 80 mm to 300 mm dia and 5 to 8 mtr long) without damages to the Two/Four Pole Structure/GODs etc including thrown away the same alteast 100 Mtr away from the Sub Stn Yard complete all as directed. Note : Suitable arrangement i.e ladder, scafolding or any other working plateform required for climbing on high rise trees for carryout said work is the responsibility of vendor/contractor and the rates are deemed to be included in this quoted rate.

Labour for taking down both side HT/LT Cable and shifting 100 KVA, 11000/433 Volts, 50 Hz, AC Outdoor type Distribution Transformer from Sub Stn 'E' to MES Store Yard and keeping inside shed (distance not more than 2.0 km one way) and lifting 200 KVA, 11000/433 Volts, 50 Hz, AC Outdoor type Distribution Transformer from MES Store Yard to Sub Stn 'E' (distance not more than 2.0 km one way) and Install at Transformer plinth including termination of its both HT /LT side with HT/LT Power Cables by taking proper safety precautions for working personnel complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (a) The contractor shall be responsible and cost for loading, unloading, shifting of above said Transformers by suitable mode of transport/vehicle etc is deemed to be included in this job. (b) If any damage occured to the transformer during this course of action, the damaged parts of the Transformer shall be replaced by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt.
