Demolition of Brickwork or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for as in case of angles, framed truss etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Removing building materials etc., obtained from demolition, to outside MD land, including loading and unloading and stacking, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Before quoting the tender, the bidders are advised to ascertain the distance outside MD and, at which the excavated material/ debris are to be disposed off. No extra claim what-so-ever shall be entertained on this account. (ii) This item shall be considered as per the requirement at site.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc., not exceeding 10 sq.m on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft / disintegrated rocks, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate), as in foundations, filling in mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for use and wastage of Formwork to sides of rough finished flat surfaces of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for TMT CRS bars, Fe 500D grade, 10mm dia and over, as in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clip, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for TMT CRS bars Fe 500D grade, 6 to 10mm dia, as in stirrup, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clip, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete, M-30 (20mm graded stone aggregate) (Design mix) as in Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for use and wastage of Formwork to rough fininshed square, rectangular or polygonal surfaces of concrete sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix 25mm thick pre-formed PVC filler board for expansion joints, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete, M-30 (20mm graded stone aggregate) (Design mix) as in Columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for use and wastage of Formwork to rough fininshed flat concrete sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including sup- ports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete solid block masonry, grade C5.0, with solid blocks, exceeding 10cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished the surface even and smooth with out using exta cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in soft / disintegrated rock, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (any type) and depositing it outside Ministry of Defence Land. NOTE:- (i) Before quoting the tender, the bidders are advised to ascertain the distance outside MD and, at which the excavated material/ debris are to be disposed off. M&L for Broken glass coping, in cement mortar 1:3 with a rounded or weathered finish, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Before mortar has set, the broken glass (of bottle glass or thick glass), broken to approximately 63mm guage shall be firmly embedded in the cement mortar at a rate of 10kg of glass per square metre of the rendered surface, jogged edges of the glass being left projecting.

M&L for Preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coat of cement base paint over a coat of wall primer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Galvanised 2-strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., as directed, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Mild steel angle iron Framed work (Miscellaneous) as in grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and / or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work, fencing post, hanging gates inpillars, stoppers, handles, sliding bolts and similar work, steel sections conforming to Fe 290, Gde-E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for use and wastage of formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc., and similar work, vertical or to batter rough flat finished surface of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F HDPE pipe 100 mm dia, PN-10 for laying in ground, road crossing etc for cable protection including necessary fittings, clamps for supports, etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 design mix (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in Walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5metre wide and not exceeding 1.5metre in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc., not exc 10sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5metre in depth and getting out in Hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate including use of formwork (straight or curved) for lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4, type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for TMT CRS bars, Fe 500D grade, 8mm dia, as in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clip, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and set in CM 1:4 as in cover slabs, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in any type of excavated soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength 550 MPa as in view cutter / barricading, fixed with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Fixing of space between view cutter sheets both veritcally and horizontally shall be directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling & Refixing the same Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thickness of any pattern, as in barricading etc., complete alll as specified and directed.

Dismantling post or struts & Refixing same (steel) any section, including taking out embedded portion in concrete and making good the disturbed ground, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling Plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge , thickness, of any description and in any situation, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion in concrete, brick work, masonry, etc. and making good disturbed ground.

S&F in repairs of razer type concertina coil, 9SWG hot galvanised spring tensile wire 145 to 150N/sqmm, zinc coating 250-300g/sqm, dia of coil when unstretched 610mm, minmum no of coils 10 per RM after laying, hot dip galvanised razer ribbon tape of size 0.50 mm thick 19mm wide before wrapping of central corewire fixed with 1.66mm thick GI clips 25 nos per running meter and special nut bolts, hold 'z' coil together and extrra two rows parrel wire of 10 gauge, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying/taking out of cables,CI/GI pipe lines and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material / soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up cast iron/ ductile iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and connections for refixing or removal to store, complete all as specified and directed for the following bore of pipes: NOTE:- Earthwork shall be measured and paid separtely under respective item of this Schedule.

Supply and Laying of Cast iron pipe, spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast, Class A 250mm bore in trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

Note: Earthwork and any extra length of pipe needed shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of this Schedule.

M & L for Cast iron fittings spigot and socket for pipes upto 150mm bore such as bends (any type radius and angle tapers any type (straight,bend) Tee, joint piece single branch,Y junction ,double branch cross (all socket or sockets and spigot or all flanged ends), collar caps and plug, connecting piece, one end flanged and other socketed or spigot or bell mouth with joints including jointing material complete all as specified and directed. The fittings shall be as per latest IS. Note: The quoted rate shall also deemed to be inclusive of Cutting of Existing CI Pipes for Insertion of Fittings.

M & L for Cast iron fittings spigot and socket for pipes from 200mm to 300mm bore such as bends (any type radius and angle tapers any type (straight,bend) Tee, joint piece single branch,Y junction ,double branch cross (all socket or sockets and spigot or all flanged ends), collar caps and plug, connecting piece, one end flanged and other socketed or spigot or bell mouth with joints including jointing material complete all as specified and directed. The fittings shall be as per latest IS. Note: The quoted rate shall also deemed to be inclusive of Cutting of Existing CI Pipes for Insertion of Fittings.

Material and labour for construction of valve chambers of size 1100mm x 1100mm x 1200mm suitable up to 100 mm Dia pipe (internal dimension built in brick masonary on 15cm thick PCC foundation(1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate over 100 mm thick hard core with brick work masonry in cement mortar 1:4 using subclass 'B' class bricks and rendering in cement mortar 1:4, 10 mm thick intenally including exposed surface of external surfaces, MS cover made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet on iron angle framework made out of MS flat iron 25 x 6 mmx 300 mm long and 40 mm thick PCC coping 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm garded stone aggregate with handle hinges with locking arrangement & applying two coats of synthetic enamle paint over a coat of red oxide primer to all exposed steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. M & L for Run Lead joint (Mechanical type) including jointing material suitable for spigot and socket pipes and fittings, complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:

Material and Labour for taking out sluice valves suitable for 150 mm dia bore pipe, refacing, regrinding and refixing, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sand cushioning to underground cable including punning down of sand in layer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid.

Supply and lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat, size 300mmx180mmx40mm laid in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and directed..

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade, IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system, laid in trenches/ ducts/encased in Gl pipe / fixed to pole, including jointing & testing complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:

S&F in replacement of Cable route indicator made of CI 100mm dia welded and fitted with MS angle Iron 40 x 40 x 6mm, 45 Cm long. The angle shall be grouted in PCC block 1:3:6 type C-1 (20 mmGraded aggregate) of size 150 x 150 x 150mm The Cl round shall be embossed with the work "MES HT Cables" complete all as specified and directed. The cable path indicator shall be painted by Brown Colour

Taking Down Existing LT UG armoured cable by manual excavation without making any physical damage to Cable while excavation including taking out LT cable covers and HDPE Protection Pipe for rerouting the old cable all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for the following size of Cables. Note :The rate for Excavation, Extra LT UG Cables, Extra Cable covers and Extra HDPE pipes will paid and measured Seperately if required while old cable laying in rerouting including all as specified and directed.

Boring hole suitably distributed along the boundary wall as the strata may vary along the length, as directed, 100mm dia by rotary drilling for soil investigation in any type of soil / rock / concrete floors and sub-bases refusal including boulder, weathered rocks upto a depth of 10.00 metre each as directed, alongwith SLPT at every 1.50 metre and carrying out SPT and other tests required for desigining the foundation, complete all as specified and directed.

The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of the following :- (a) Test report shall be included all the tests as required for designing the foundation such as SPT values, bore logs, soil classification and also shall cover the general recommendations for suitable dept, type of foundation RCC retaining wall and compound wall on the sopy area and the proposed type of foundation system bearing capacity likely in total presentable manner. The test report shall be submitted in quintupicate duly bounded in a presentable manner. The unit rate quoted shall also deemed to include for samples of soil.

(b) Water will not be supplied by the department (c) The report shall contain following test parameters as applicable to the soil on ground: (i) Bore hole chart (ii) Profile of all type of bore holes (iii) Bearing capacity calculation indicating SBC of soil with the type of foundation and depth at 1.5metre interval (iv) Consolidation test on undisturbed sample

(v) Chemical analysis of ground water (vi) Unconsolidated analysis of ground water (vii) Crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered (viii) SBC of ground with type of foundation (ix) Existing waer table (if met) (x) Photographic / videography record during the progress (d) Compilation of geotechnical report including filed & laboratory test results, recommendation report for foundation system, graphs, pile load capacity, diameter and depth of pipe required for the above mentioned work and addressing all relevant geotechnical issues etc., complete including vetting of report by any Govt. Engineering College in India or any NABL approved laboratory.
