Construction of embankment with approved earth obtained from outside sources to be arranged by Contractor with all lifts and leads transporting to site, spreading, laying in layers of 20cm finished depth, breaking clods/ over size material, removal of stumps/roots and the like, watering, grading/levelling each layer with dozers/grader and rolling and compacting every layer with vibratory roller/ earth compactor of minimum 8-12 tonnes capacity and dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note :"Please note that the item includes transportation with all leads and lifts, paying of royalty, any other State Tax, obtaining necessary clearance from concerned authorities, all statutory approval etc complete. Nothing extra will be paid for any additional lead, due to shifting of sources. Payment to be made for compacted quantity only". The challan for royalty paid to concerned Govt. body shall be submitted to Engineer-In-Charge. a) Under Pavement area - Compaction to be achived 98% of modified proctors density under OMC.

Construction of embankment with Moorum/granular graded material of approved qualtiy obtained from outside sources to be arranged by Contractor with all lifts and leads transporting to site, spreading, laying in layers of 20cm finished depth, breaking clods/ over size material, removal of stumps/roots and the like, watering, grading/levelling each layer with dozers/grader and rolling and compacting every layer with vibratory roller/ earth compactor of minimum 8-12 tonnes capacity so as to achieve Compaction of 98% of modified proctors density under OMCand dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Earthwork in excavation in ordinary rock with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, transporting to location as per the direction of Engineer - In- Charge within all lifts and lead within Airport premises, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a)1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a)1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement : All works upto Plinth Level a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Preparation of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, conforming to specifications mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by mechanical transport to work site, for all leads and lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with mechanical means including neatly leveling & dressing on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. With material conforming to Grade-I (size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-30

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion (Rapid setting) complying with IS:8887/ Cut Back bitumen as per IS:217, spraying the bitumen (emulsion/Cut back) with mechanically operated spray unit, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications. On WMM surface @ 0.40 kg/sqm

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of Viscosity grade VG 30(60/70) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler,cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications. On existing black topped surface @ 0.5 kg/sqm

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam(DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement as filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8 to 10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction,strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement as filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (Supplied in Bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, prefarably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose content of bitumen of grade VG-30 shall be taken as 120 kg/cum of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Asphaltic Concrete(DAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (Supplied in Bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 135 kg/cum of mix, supplied in bulk, produced by Govt.Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. New work (Two or more coats).
