Preparing unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with Gunny bags to remove all loose dirts, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge. (Note :- Paving bitumen will be issued under Schedule 'B' for incorporation in the work at specified rate and recovery shall be affected accordingly.)

M&L Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete (Design Mix), 40 mm consolidated thickness with 6.0 % (minimum) binder content (paving bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 Tonne power roller with using Hot Mix plant and mechanical paver complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. (Note: (i) Paving Bitumen will be issued under Sch 'B' at specified rate and recovery shall be affected accordingly. (ii) Marshal stability shall not be less than 1200 Kg.

M&L Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete (Design Mix), 40 mm consolidated thickness with 6.0 % (minimum) binder content (paving bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using Hot Mix plant and mechanical paver with using hot mix plant and mechanical paver complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. (Note: (i) Unit rate quoted shall include the provision of bitumen at 6.0% by weight of the total mix. No price adjustment shall be admissible if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. (ii) Marshal stability shall not be less than 1200 Kg.

M&L preparing & cleaning existing Asphaltic/Road surfaces of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. with coir brushes and applying 2.5 mm thick Thermoplastic Road Marking Paint including glass beads as per manufacturer's instruction (retro reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads, dispenser, propane, tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour ,T&P, all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs road stud (Cat eye) two way reflective of size 90x110x17mm made of heavy duty moulded ABS plastic body having ultrasonically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer-in- Charge. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L providing cement concrete type B2, 1:2:4 using 40 mm graded aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete etc.complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep in hard / dense soil all as specified and as directed, including removing of debris out of the premises

Repair to potholes n.exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in bituminous premixed carpet 2 cm thick (consolidated) with 0.27 cum of stone chipping mixed with 14.6 kg of binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of bitumen(VG-10), again well rammed (incl supply of premixed binder and sand) ; depth of pot holes n. exc. 30mm all as specified and directed. (Note : Cost of Paving Bitumen (VG-10 and VG-30) shall be borne by the contractor).

Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n exc. 400 sqm, depth exc 50mm but not exc.100mm deep complete and removing materials to a distance not exceeding 50 metres all as specified and as directed.

M&L premix bituminous macadam (Design Mix), 75 mm or less consolidated thickness with 4.0 % (minimum) binder content (paving bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. (Note: (i) Unit rate quoted shall include the provision of bitumen, at 4.0% by weight of the total mix. No price adjustment shall be admissible if excess quantity of binder content (bitumen VG-30) is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. (ii) Area should be calculated on Simpson's rule & volume should be calculated on Prismoidal Formula. (iii) Priming/Tack coat will be measured and paid for separately under relevant ite3m of this Schedule.)

All as per Sri Item No 14 here-in-before but premix bituminous macadam (design Mix), consolidated thickness more than 75mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. .

M&L rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on stone masonry surface or surface other than fair face of brickwork, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparing new plastered surfaces of wall of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of compatible priming paint complete all as specified and as directed.

(Note : (i) The Scope of Work contained in 'Sch of Credit' amounting to Rs. 28251.00 (refer Tender Srl Page No 21) . The Quoted sum shall be arrived at after deducting the amount of “Sch of Credit” from the total amount of the ‘BoQ’
