Construction of New Hospital Buiklding( Phase-II Block) at Theog Distt. Shimla, HP

EARTHWORK : Cutting in earth work by mechanical means or manual means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling and wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohabited) and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering whereever required,settling out to required lines,levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer in charge at site according to the HP.PWD specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful materials to be stacked at suitable site as per satisfication of Engineer -in- Charge along with levelling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour , mechanical tools and equipment and safety measures and incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required). All useful material such as stones, shingles, aggregate,sand slates shall be properlystacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and all surplus excavated earth will be disposed off at approved dumping site which will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Any loss to thepublic and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceableand unserviceable materials shall betheabsoluteresponsiblity of the contractor and shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respectsincluding all incidental charges.

All useful materialsuch as stones, shingles, aggregatesand slates shall be properlystacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. and all surplus excavated earth will be disposed off at approved dumping site which will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. CONCRETE WORK : Making plinth protection 50mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand (zone - III) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering in Retaining walls any thickness including attached pillasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillers, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc. upto all heights and levels excluding cost of centring, shuttering and finishing including including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals: (i) 1:3:6 ( 1 cement :3 sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size}

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand): 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal Size) including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering: All work up to plinth level 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand): 10 graded stone aggre-gate 40 mm nominal Size including carriage of materials with including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

FORM WORK :-Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals :- Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Post and struts.

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders,bressumers and cantilevers.

Suspended floors, roofs and the like.
