Providing and fixing 0.60 m high ventilation arrangement in 500mm dia in centre at top of dome with 6 Nos. 20mm MS square bar duly welded in the bottom. The circular frame at bottom edge should be properly welded with reinforcement bar of Dome. The circular ventilation frame should be enclosed with mosquito proof wire mesh. Roofing over ventilation should be provided with Plain galvanized sheet after fixing it with sloped bar so as to avoid rain water inside the tank complete in all respect in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
Laying, jointing, testing and commissioning at site in trenches GMS pipe (Medium & Heavy grade) of following diameters for rising main/gravity main as under conforming to IS 1239 Part-I or latest upto date amendments, capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in random length of 5.5 to 6.5 meters including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube. The jointing of pipe sahll be done with butt welded joints, M.S. flanges are to provided in 1% of total joints and remaining 99% joints shall be provided with butt welded joints. The pipe end shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 or latest upto date amendments as aplicable to make joint leak proof in two layers at site of work with electrods as per IS 814-2004 or latest with up todate amnedments. Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of submersible / mono submersible for open well pumping set of reputed make such as KSB/BS/Johnston/Clama/SU/Kirloskar or any other State/Department approved make conforming to latest relevent BIS code. The pump should be fitted with free flow impellers of bronze /suitable alloy as per IS 14220 latest with up to date ammendments suitable for raw/clear water having greased packed bearings & shaft with bound stator on motor side & with shaft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft conforming to BIS specifications. The class of valve shall be ASA-150 conforming to API-600 specifications.
b).Providing and fixing at site of Kirloskar/ Leader make of suitable size cast steel double flanged swing chech reflux valve having bye pass arrangement & size one size larger than the nominal dia of delivery size of pump or equal to dia of column pipe (in case of tube well) and capable of withstanding nominal seat pressure as mentioned in item No.51.01 + surge pressure conforming to API standards with up to date ammendments for delivery line of pump . The class of valve shall be ASA-150 conforming to API-6D specifications.
a).Providing,laying,jointing & testing at site suitable size copper PVC insulated armoured power three & half core cable ( form meter of HPSEB TO CIRCUIT BREAKER) conforming to BIS 1554 (Part I) -1988 or latest with up to date ammendments of Siemen/Gloster/ICC/ EICO/National /IEC make from meter of HPSEB to circuite breaker & from circuite breaker to bus bar switch & starter (one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment/accessories such as thimbles,flexible pipe,solder, nuts & bolts,cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor The type,size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities. In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost. (30 Rmt.). The size of cable shall be 4 mm square (for 2 Job length of Cable=2x30=60 mtrs).
b).Providing,laying,jointing & testing at site PVC jointless flat water proof cable ( for Motor Side ) as per BIS 694-1990 (latest with up to date ammendments) suitable for the pump sets offered from circuite breaker to motor & motor to starter including all other electrical equipments such as thimbles, flexible pipes, solder,nuts & bolts,cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches. The type,size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost. (2x7=14 Rmt.) The size of cable shall be 4 mm square (for 2 Job length of cable =2x14=28 mtrs).
c) Providing and laying double loop earthing with Copper/ G.I plate 600 x 600 x 3 mm thick electrode complete with material such as charcoal, common salt ,GI pipes,thimbles,nuts & bolts,digging of pits,GI wiring & 25x5mm copper strips of required capacity conforming to BIS 3043-1987 latest with up to date ammendments suitable for above motors & other electrical equipments. (for both pump sets).
Supplying and fixing of 100mm dia circular dial pressure gauge of suitable range & standard make such as Fiebeg/Bourden/ Precision/PREGA with all accessories such as stop cock,copper tubing etc.conforming to BIS 3624-1987 or latest with up to date ammendments.
Providing and lowering in position at site of GMS( MG) column pipe assembly of size as indicated in item 51.04 including MS Flanges of table - 5 capable to withstand nominal pressure as mentioned in item no. 51.01 & confirming to IS 6392-1971 with up to date ammendments including the cost of rubber /asbestos gasket of maximum 3 mm thickness as per IS: 2712 -1979 and required numbers of nuts and bolts as per IS 1364 -1983.The column pipe should be provided & lowered as per the direction of engineer incharge. The same shall be of suitable thickness, grade & specification capable of withstanding minimum1.5 times the total presure as indicated in item no. 55.01 unless otherwise specified properly jointed at every three mtrs including all neccessary accessories like increaser/ reducer , flanges ,tees, bends etc.including supporting clamps ( 2 Nos ) at the top of assembly and i/c cost of jointing of column pipe with R/Main with additional line of delivery pipe of approximate length 10 mtr as per the direction of engineer-in charge (8.00+10.00=18.00 Rmt.) Says 20 mtrs (for 2 Parallel riser pipes =2x20=40 mtrs.
Providing and fixing double flanged suction, delivery pipe and common header pipe considering site requirment, NPSH required and avialable and common header having area equal to two times the area of delivery branch of pump including tapper, flanges, rubber gasket 3mm thick as per BIS 2712-1978 nuts and bolts as per 1364-1983 and special upto five metre away from the outer wall of pump house as per layout drawing approved by Engineer in Charge. The delivery and common header pipe shall be capable of withstanding minimum 1.5 times of total pressure as indincated in item no 51.01 total dynamic pressure plus surge pressure which ever is more. The size of suction pipe shall be one or two sizes larger than the suction size of the pump such that velocity of flow in suction pipe is not more than 1.50 metre per second and delivery pipe shall be of size one size larger than nominal delivery size of pump i/c cost of jointing delivery pipe and common header with rising main complete in all respect. Size of piping work shall be 100x100x100mm (Delivery pipe, Suction pipe and common header pipe). The common header pipe shall be of GMS (MG) pipe conferming to BIS 123 part-I or latest with upto date ammendents. MS plate flanges to be used on suction side shall be FT-5 and MS plate flanges to be used on delivery side shall be of FT-5.

Supply of 100mm dia circular dial pressure gauge of suitable range & standard make such as Fiebeg/Bourden/ Precision/PREGA with all accessories such as stop cock,copper tubing etc. conforming to BIS 3624-1987 or latest with up to date ammendments.
P/F double flanged suction, delivery pipe & common header of GMS pipe (H) grade considering site requirements, NPSH required & available & common header having area equal to two times the area of delivery branch of pump including tapers,flanges,rubber gaskets 3mm thick as per BIS-2712-1978 nuts & bolts as per 1364-1983 & special up to 5 mtrs. away from the outer wall of pump house as per layout drawings approved by Engineer-in-Charge. The deliver and common header pipes shall be capable of withstanding minimum 1.5 times the total presure as indicated in item No. 52.01 or total dynamic pressure(+) surge pressure which eaver is more . The size of suction pipe shall be one or two sizes larger than the suction size of pump such that valocity of flow in suction pipe is not more than 1.50 mtr/sec & delivery pipe shall be of size one size larger than nominal delivery size of pump including cost of jointing delivery pipes and common header with R/Main complete in all respect. Size of piping work shall be 65x80x100mm (Delivery pipe, Suction pipe and common header pipe). The suction pipe (MG), common header, delivery pipe shall be of GMS (HG) pipe conferming to BIS 123 part-I or latest with upto date ammendents. MS plate flanges to be used on suction side shall be FT-5 and MS plate flanges to be used on delivery side shall be of FT-28.
NOTE:- Actual laying to be done as per final drawings to be approved by the Engineer in charge
Laying, jointing, testing and commissioning in trenches galvanised screwed and socketed mild steel tube of following dia of light grade as per IS 1239-2004 Part-I or latst upto date amendments including providing and fixing tube fitting such asa reducer, increaser, socket, union, tees, bents etc. where ever required (earth work to be measured and paid for separately) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts.
