REPAIR / MAINT OF CERTAIN ROADS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE AT MP GOLAI AND BURDANG UNDER GE GANGTOK

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm and segregation materials stacking for reuse and remove from the site of work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 75 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with Granite, trap or Basalt, coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8-12 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced / new water bound macadam(WBM) surfaces by brushing with Wire Brushes for removing Caked, Mud, etc., Sweeping with Brooms and finally Fanning the Cleaned Surface with Gunny Bags to remove all loose dirts, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade 10 Pack (VG-10) @ 10kg per 10 sqm over WBM surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 Pack (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer using paving bitumen grade 10 Pack (VG-10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 40 mm thick consolidated thickness bituminous premixed carpet with 0.54 Cu.m per 10 sqm of stone chipping and mixed with 29.20 kg per 10 sqm of binder using paving bitumen grade 30 Pack (VG-30) laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and compacted to required camber and gradient to a smooth uniform surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for liquid seal coat by applying paving bitumen of grade 30 (VG-30) @ 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 6.3 mm size stone chipping @ 0.09 cum per 10 Sqm and rolled to a uniformed smooth surface by 8 to 12 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor finshes, paving etc. finishing cement concrete surface even and rough without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC (1:2:4) (150x150x300mm) type B1, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete(1:3:6), type C-2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) in surface channels and drains, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement including forms, moulds mitered / stopped ends etc., all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and directed.

S & F in repair egal eye 60cm round convex mirror (3mm thick) polycarnbonate for road security traffice mirror with adjustable bracket fixed with painted 65mm dia MS pipe of height 1.8 m including below earth surface fixed by plain cement concrete (1:3:6) in foundation including excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n.exc 0.5 Cu.m getting out and removing in post surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and making good surface in soft/loose soil etc., complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying retrorefelceted thermoplastic road marking paint upto 10cm width with 3.00mm thickness applied using mechanically propelled vehicle consisting heater hopper mounted on a pram, which feed hot molten thermoplastic under gravity to a rectaunglar screed with a gate at the base whose opening is set to produce the thickness, complete all as specified and directed.

Note 2:-The contract sum shall be arrived at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quoted amount.
