Construction of Embankment with Materials Obtained from Roadway Cutting Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5

Construction of Embankment with Materials obtained from Borrow pits. Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Granular Sub-base with Well Graded Material (Table 400.1) Construction of granular sub-base two layers of 175 mm(100+75) thick by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. by Grading III Material

Cement Treated Granular Sub Base Providing laying and spreading granulated material on a prepared sub-grade pulverising adding the designed quantitity of cement,to the spread granulated material mixing in place with rotavator grading with the mortar grader and compacting with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub- base/base as per Technical Specifications Clauses 404.3 and 410.4.2.

Prime coat(Low porosity) Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502
