Work Description

Brief scope of work covers Alignment of generator shaft needs to be done by locking of rotor shaft by UGB pads at UGB chamber of the generator and also including correction of UGB, LGB and TGB bearing gaps and checking the rotor through as per the detailed Technical Specification and Scope of Work furnished in enclosed Section III of the bid document.

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Tender is of two cover system.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

Aspiring Bidders/Contractors who have not obtained the user ID & Password for participating in e-Procurement, may now obtain the same from the website www.eproc.karnataka.gov.in.

Corrigendum or modification or corrections, if any, will be published in the website only. Section I,II,III, Instruction to bidders and Form of Bid are part of the Tender document.

The bidder must visit to the Linganamakki power house to evaluate the Nature and quantum of work involved, Condition of the working place, Tools, safety Equipments, required Scaffoldings/Ladders and it is mandatory to upload the site inspection certificate attached in document section of this bid which is signed by both tender inviting authority and bidder as a PQR document while submitting the bid and considered it as a proof of visit to power house.

After evaluation of Technical Bid and whose offer meet the PQR and technical specification of the tender/bid in complete manner will be accepted and only such bidders Financial bid will be opened.

The bidders who do not have independent PF(Provident Fund)registration certificate obtained from PF authorities, then such bidders if work is awarded has to remit the PF towards the labours deployed for work to KPCL contractors PF registration code.

Right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason is reserved by the undersigned.

The bidder shall quote in Indian Rupees only. The bidder shall quote his rates excluding the GST as per the latest GOK/GOI orders.

KPCL reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any or all the certificates furnished by any or all the tenders from the authorities who have issued the same. If it is found that any of the agency/agencies have furnished false certificates/ information, the tenders submitted by them are liable for rejection.

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

The bidder shall be a regular contractor / firm and shall have proven experience in carrying out the work of Overhauling or Alignment to Hydro Turbine Generator in Generating stations or reputed organization. In proof of the above, copy of work order and corresponding work completion certificate for at least one single order with contract value not less than Rs.5.64 lakhs issued from the competent authority should be furnished.

Financial Status

The Bidders in the last five financial years should have achieved in at least two financial years an average annual financial turnover of Rs.11.27 lakhs. In proof, Annual Report/turn over certificates duly certified by chartered accountant shall be furnished.
