Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Conditional tenders will not be accepted and tender is of two cover system.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Aspiring Bidders/Contractors who have not obtained the user ID & Password for participating in e-Procurement, may now obtain the same from the website www.eproc.karnataka.gov.in

Section I, II, III, Instruction to bidders, Form of Bid, and Self declaration are part of the Tender document.

After evaluation of Technical Bid and whose offer meet the PQR and technical specification of the tender/bid in complete manner will be accepted and only such bidders Financial bid will be opened.

Prices for each item specified in work estimate shall be uploaded in the e-portal itself. Prices will be evaluated based on the rates quoted in the e-portal i.e., the sum total price of items forming the total bid amount.

Note: Rates per unit quoted shall be FOR destination basis and inclusive of packing forwarding, loading, unloading, transportation, freight and insurance charges and any other allowances and exclusive of GST.

Right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason is reserved by the undersigned.

The bidder shall quote in Indian Rupees only. The bidder shall quote his rates exclusive of GST and inclusive of all other applicable taxes as per the latest GOK/GOI orders.

The quantity of materials and work mentioned/indicated in tender may vary depending on the final requirement at the time of placing the work order.

Bidders are advised to visit the work site at Bhadra Generating Station before bidding to obtain the hands-on information if required about the quantum of work and supply involved from the concerned division head. Further, post tender correspondences regarding technical specification, scope of work and supply involved will not be entertained and it is the responsibility of the bidders to get any queries cleared before bidding for subject work.

KPCL reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any or all the certificates furnished by any or all the tenders from the authorities who have issued the same. If it is found that any of the agency/agencies have furnished false certificates/ information, the tenders submitted by them are liable for rejection.

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

The bidder shall be a regular manufacturer/contractor/agency/firm and have proven experience for being successfully carried out the work of Providing Earth mat to various equipment / strengthening of earth mat resistance to power utilities / reputed organizations. In proof of the above, the bidder shall upload scanned copies of work order and corresponding work completion/work done certificate for at least one single order for preceding 5 years towards execution of similar work with contract value not less than Rs. 1.63 Lakh issued from competent authority.

Financial Status

The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover of Rs. 3.27 Lakh in any two financial years in the last five financial years. In proof, the bidder shall upload scanned copies of annual turnover certificate/profit and loss statement duly certified by Charted Accountant.
