SPL REPAIR TO ROAD AT TANGDHAR GRN IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-II, SPL REPAIR TO ROADS FORM SAND MODEL ROOM TO POND AND SPL REPAIR TO INTENAL ROAD AT DRUGMULLA GRN IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-III UNDER GE 874 EWS

Scarifying or picking gravelled, mecadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 50mm deep and n exc 100mm deep in area exc 400 Sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads/path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm and more as per site requirement in depth and making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen @ of 5 Kg/10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chipping) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or less ) using binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30, by hot mix plant and laid by mechanical pavor, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using binder content with 5.5% of (bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne capacity road roller to uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and directed. Note for ser No 4 & 5 (i) Preparation of mix in hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable. (ii) Central computerised Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed. (iii) Over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadam & nο separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessitated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately. (iv) The Design mix shall be carried out from the Zonal lab/ Govt approved lab/Govt Engr College as approved by GE and design mix shall be got approved by GE before execution of the work. (v) The cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item.

M&L for preparation of black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a bituminous tack coat of grade VG-10 @ of 5 Kg per 10 sqm of road surface, complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with lime stone, flint or quartzile coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) , spread, rolled and consolidated torequired gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing WBM by brushing with wire brush to remove caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat @ 10 Kg/10 Sqm using paving bitumen (VG-10) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning cleaned surfaced with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bitumen @5kg /10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with pecial applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed
