Providing Advance Lightning Protection System:

Supply, erection, testing & commisioning of Early Streamer Emission (ESE) type Lightning Protection Complete with Lightning Air Terminal. The System should be corrosion resistant stainless steel chrome body capable of working in hazardous atmosphere and protecting against direct Lightning point as well conducting /diverting it to earth completely after tracing the Lightning in advance. As per NF C 17-102:2011 the air terminal should be tested for Lightning impulse current (10/350 micro sec) =100 KA and for local certification the air terminal should be tested for switching impulse current of 40 KA (8/20 micro sec) as per CPRI with 5 positive and 5 negative impulse. The ESE Terminals shall offer a protection radius of 79mtr., Level-1 High Protection and preferably to be mounted on roof top and center of the building / blocks with the highly insulated polyplastic adaptor with the Mast. (Its working principle evolves from local electrostatic field that develops naturally around the system as a thunderstorm begins to gather. In the event of descending lightning, an inbuilt triggering device generates high tension pulses at the conductor tip, causing a ‘corona effect’.) Protection radius of 79Mtr at level 1 & 107 Mtr at level 4

Supply and fixing of GI Mast 5 mtr. height along with suitable base plate for mounting the terminal along with highly insulated adopter to mount ESE Air Terminal with the Mast.The Adapter shall have suitable Metal connector /Connecting point in such a way the top portion shall be electrically connected to the central tip of the ESE terminal and bottom portion connected to the down conducto, stray wires along with support shall be securely fixed with base plate and gauge wires where ever required.

Supply and installation of Lightning Strike Counter (6 digit display) of non-resettable (electromechanical) type which allows the automatic counting of the strikes received by the lightning protection system. This information is used to enhance lightning protection security & increase the effectiveness of inspection & maintenance procedures. It should be in IP-65 enclosure with minimum sensitivity of 1KA and maximum capacity 100KA. No external power source is required. It should be installed always 2 mtrs. above the ground level.

Supply & erection of test Link of non-corroding, weather proof, water proof polycarbonate IP 65/55 enclosure including providing of 2 Nos. of insulated supports with suitable holes prefitted nuts & bolts to fix the down conductor & earth wire. The transparent cover fitted at approximately 500-1000mm from ground level shall be provided on each down conductor.

Supply, installation & testing of chemical earthing (Maintenance Free Earthing) system with UL approved copper bonded rod and exothermically welded copper busbar both tested by CPRI at 50kA Fault Current. A copper bonded steel rod shall have 3000 mm length and 17.2 mm dia. with copper coating thickness of minimum 250 microns. Along with earth enhancement compound tested by ROHS complying IEC 62561-7 in a sealed bag of minimum 50 kg (25 kg Bag x 2). A copper clad steel solid ground wire of 8 mm dia. for interconnecting earth pits. Each earth pit shall be covered with heavy duty weather proof environment friendly polyplastic earth pit chamber. The grounding minerals should not be pollute the ground water. The grounding minerals shall be tested & certified for the resistivity of less than 0.12 ohm-mtr.

Cost of pole foundation with earth work in excavation in foundations trenches etc. 0.25 meter below ground level, Cement Concrete 1:4:8 with stone ballast, Reinforced cement concrete M-20,Cold twisted deformed (Ribbed/tor Steel Bar) Bars Fe 500 grade as per IS 1786-2008 complete in all respect as desired by engineer in charge.
