EARTH WORK

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

CONCRETE WORK

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

WOOD AND PVC WORK

Extra for providing frosted glass panes 4 mm thick (weight not less than 10 kg per sqm) instead of ordinary float glass panes 4 mm thick (weight not less than 10 kg per sqm) in doors, windows and clerestory window shutters. (Area of opening for glass panes excluding portion inside rebate shall be measured).

Providing and fixing aluminium extruded section body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with ISi, IS : 3564, embossed on the body, door weight upto 36 kg to 80 kg and door width from 701 mm to 1000 mm), with double speed adjustment with necessary accessories and screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing aluminium tower bolts, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868 ) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete :

Providing and fixing aluminium hanging floor door stopper, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour and shade, with necessary screws etc. complete.

FINISHING

Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :

One or more coats on old work

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

Old work (One or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm).

REPAIRS TO BUILIDNG

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand)

Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) upto 2000 litre capacity at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The old date already written on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paint and if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made @ Rs. 0.10 per litre) (if during cleaning any GI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account)

Cleaning and desilting of gully trap chamber, including removal of rubbish mixed with earth etc. and disposal of same, all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge

Cleaning of chocked sewer line by diesel running vehicle mounting hydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting sewer cleaning machine fitted with pump having 4000 litres suction capacity and 6000 litres water jetting tank capacity including skilled operator, supervising engineer etc. for cleaning and partial desilting of manholes and dechocking of sewer lines. Dechocking and flushing of sewer line from one manhole to another by high pressure jetting system of 2200 PSI for sewer line from 150mm dia upto 300mm

Cleaning of under ground sump, Over Head R.C.C. Tank (independent staging) including disposal of slit and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:- (i) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits. (ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water. (iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine. (iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removal from the surface. (v) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc.as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Twice a year)

Providing and fixing P.V.C. low level flushing cistern with manually controlled device (handle lever) conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings and fixtures complete.

NON SCHEDULED ITEMS

Providing and fixing of C.P Brass Health Faucet of approved brand with 1mtr Hose,Wall Hook and Fixing Kit etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying Dr Fixit fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing acrylic paint having Sun reflectivity index on top of sloped roof in two coats @ 11.10litre/ 10sqm . The operation shall be carried out after removing the algae and loose particals with the help of water pressure pump and making painting surface good all as per the direction of Engineer In charge.

Providing Services of Plumber to attend day to day plumbing complaints of Residential & Non residential (Office) Buildings of ICMR department including attending necessary repairs to water supply lines & fixtures whenever required (Cost of fixures to be paid separately) all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Services of 2 nos Beldar to assist Plumber/Carpenter/Mason in day to day mainenance / repair works including cleaning of common areas at Residential & Non residential (Office) Buildings of ICMR department all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Services of Sweeper/Cleaner for cleaning of all roads and foot paths, terraces daily by sweeping and picking up of papers, dry leaves, grass, earth, etc. inside the campus and disposing of resulted rubbish/garbage to the dustbin provided in the premises as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing Services of Carpenter to attend carpentery complaints of Non residential (Office) Buildings of ICMR department whenever required (Cost of fixures to be paid separately) all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Services of Mason to attend Masonry complaints of Non residential (Office) Buildings of ICMR department whenever required( Cost of materials to be paid separately) all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
