Sub-Head : CEMENT CONCRETE

Providing precast cement concrete Jali 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 6mm nominal size), reinforced with 1.6 mm dia mild steel wire, including centering and shuttering, roughening cleaning, fixing and finishing in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand) etc. complete, excluding plastering of the jambs, sills and soffits. (a) 50 mm thick.

Sub-Head : WOOD & PVC WORK

Providing and fixing oxidised M.S. casement stays (straight peg type) with necessary screws etc. complete. (a) 250 mm weighing not less than 150 gms.

Providing and fixing oxidised M.S. Handle in steel window with necessary screws etc. as per direction of Engineer-in- charge.

Sub-Head : STEEL WORK

Providing and fixing 1mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6mm angle iron and 3mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer. (a) Using flats 30x6mm for diagonal braces and central cross piece.

Providing and fixing factory made ISI marked steel glazed doors, windows and ventilators side /top /centre hung, with beading and all members such as F7D, F4B, K11 B and K12 B etc. complete of standard rolled steel sections, joints mitred and flash butt welded and sash bars tenoned and riveted, including providing and fixing of hinges, pivots, including priming coat of approved steel primer , but excluding the cost of other fittings, complete all as per approved design (sectional weight of only steel members shall be measured for payment). (a) Fixing with 15x3 mm lugs 10 cm. long embedded in cement concrete block 15x10x10 cm of C.C. 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Providing and fixing T-iron frames for doors, windows and ventilators of mild steel Tee-sections, joints mitred and welded, including fixing of necessary butt hinges and screws and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer. (a) Fixing with 15x3 mm lugs 10 cm. long embedded in cement concrete block 15x10x10 cm of C.C. 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion, (i)Single socketed pipes. (a) 110 mm diameter

Sub-Head : FINISHING

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : (a)New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : (a) Two or more coats on new work.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : (a) Old work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/ 10 sqm) on existing cement paint surface).

Sub Head: REPAIRS TO BUILDING

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty: (a) Float glass panes of thickness 4 mm.

Renewal of old putty of glass panes (length).

Painting (one or more coats) on rain water, soil, waste and vent pipes and fittings with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture and required colour on old work :

100 mm diameter pipes.

150 mm diameter pipes.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : (a) One or more coats on old work.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Providing and fixing single scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes and M.S. clamps etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. Sub Head: DISMANTLING & DEMOLISHING

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Sub Head: REPAIR AND REHABILITATION

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams,columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Cleaning of exposed concrete surface of sticking material including loose and foreign material by sand blasting with coarse sand followed by and including cleaning with oil free air blast as per direction of Engineer in charge.(work is to be executed upto 23 m heights above G.L).

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.(work is to be executed upto 23 m heights above G.L).

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge.(a) Wooven PVC cloth

Providing ,mixing and applying SIKA TOP ARMATEC ® 108 or equivalent @ 0.70 Kg/Sqm (Single coat) as approved by Engineer-in-charge and as per manufacturer's specification for anti- corrosive treatment of reinforcement and adjacent concrete (considering 40% of the dismantled concrete surface) all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L). (a) Epoxy bonding adhesive (Sika high bond or equivalent) having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make.

Plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 fine sand) of 12 mm thick admixed with water proofing compound of approved make such as plastocrete super or equivalent confirming to IS 9103-1999,IS 2645-1975 and ASTM C-494-86 Type A @ 0.2% by weight of cement and as per manufacturer specification complete to improve water tightness and workability without increased water content and as per direction of Engineer in Charge. (work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand) of 6 mm thick admixed with water proofing compound of approved make such as plastocrete super or equivalent confirming to IS 9103-1999, IS 2645-1975 and ASTM C-494-86 Type A @ 0.2% by weight of cement and as per manufacturer specification complete to improve water tightness and workability without increased water content and as per direction of Engineer in Charge.(work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Replacement of sufficiently damaged reinforcements or providing additional reinforcements with the damaged reinforcements by welding etc. including cost of reinforcement (TMT bar of required dia ),mobilization etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (work is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L).

Guiniting the damaged R.C.C. columns, beams and slab after applying a bonding coat when it is taking (cement : coarse sand) = 1:3 and ‘SIGUNIT’ powder or equivalent as approved admixure as Additive set accelerator @ 2% to 4% by weight of cement and SIGUNITE powder: water = 1:4 to 10 (by volume) as per manufacturer’s specification including other cost like mobilization etc. complete . (Bond coat shall be paid separately). (works is to be executed upto 20 m heights above G.L)

Extra for mixing Recron 3S of reliance or equivalent in Cement mortar plaster of all thickness in the proportion of 1 packet (125 gm) in 50 Kg of cement complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
