Material & labour for erecting in repair steel tubular swaged poles in true vertical position ( or to be fixed in an inclined position as strut pole) steel tubular swaged poles complete with MS base plate of 6 mm thick of size 450x450 mm finial taper plug , pole cap, bolts ,nuts and washer and screwed pole made out of ERW MS tubing confirming to IS -2713 (part-II) 1980 type 410 SP-55 (11 meters long) pole including drilling of holes of required size and Nos for fixing of cross arms, and applying two coats of aluminium paint to exposed surfaces over a coat of red oxide primer and applying two coats of black bituminous paint for portion embedded in concrete, etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation , earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Material and labour in repair for cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washer, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or as directed and applying two coats of aluminium paint for exposed surfaces over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for applying two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of old surfaces on two pole structure along with connected MS stays, bracings, C-channels complete at height upto 11 mtrs complete as existing and complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for applying two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of old surfaces on on four pole structure with connected MS stays, bracings, C- channels complete at height upto 11m including complete removal of old paint, filling cavities with filler on exposed surface of steel complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint(as per existing colour) over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of old painted surface by scrapping or complete removal of old paint, filling cavities with filler on exposed surface of steel tubular pole (HT pole) 11m long complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting the HV side 22 KV & LV side 0.415KV of transformer and removing electrical connections including neutral earth strip of existing step down transformer, drain out the complete oil of transformer and store carefully in clean container. Cleaning of all HV/LV windings terminals, cleaning of conservator tank, cooling fins/tubes, tank, etc. Thoroughly inspecting of core and winding complete, reinsert the core coil assembly into the transformer tank, replacing 5/3 mm thick rubberised cork sheet gasket of top cover complete and refilled with filtered transformer oil upto the desired level marked in conservator tank and record the insulation resistance of the winding both HV/LV side between earth and HV/LV winding, reconnecting the HV/LV side electric cables complete of following capacity of step-down transformer. Note - Transformer oil filtration and top up shall be measured and paid separately under the relevant item of this BOQ.

M&L for dehydration of transformer oil with mobile stream line transformer oil filtration plant at site with all accessories connected to transformer and carrying out filtration of oil to desired dielectric strength to achieve electric strength of 60 KV for 1 minute at 2.5 mm gap as per relevant IS for transformer installed at various locations out door/in door type, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : (i)Test certificate shall be submitted for before and after filtration for dielectric strength on the proper format. (ii) Transformer oil used for top up will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supply and topping up new transformer oil confirming to IS-335 of 1993 into the conservator tank/body tank of the transformer at various location complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Make : Power Oil or its equivalent make as approved by GE Note : The transformer oil for topping up shall be with di-electric strength of 60KV

Disconnecting all in coming and outdoor cables removing the transformer from the platform/two pole structure and floor and loading it in the vehicle carefully using the crane and transporting it to the workshop for repairs and transformer transport back to site , reinstall it, reconnecting all incoming and outgoing cable by properly crimping using lugs of suitable size taping the bushes/busbar, using insulation tape and testing of capacity 200 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :LT/HT side ceramic busing, brass spindle for HT/LT side , Rewinding , Dehydration of oil shall be measured and paid separately in respective Items

Material and Labour for rewinding of HT /LT windings of transformer , winding the defective coils with approved quality copper wire as per IS of same gauge and existing size together with new insulation materials, bracings the terminals before placing into the transformer and assembling the HT / LT coil with new insulation between core and LT coil all as required and fitting the coils in the chamber, testing and commissioning the transformer after providing necessary connections complete all as directed by Engr in charge.

Material and Labour for arrest the leakage of transformer oil from Transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA from the LT/HT side bushings by replacing oil seals , Gaskets of , top cover , conservator tank and other parts of transformer after drain out the transformer at required level , tightening the transformer nut bolts, replacing the gasket nuts , bolts , washer and refilling the stored Transformer oil after completion of oil arrest complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i) Spare required such as nut ,bolts,washer,Gasket etc required to oil arrest shall be deemed to be included under unit rate quoted. (ii) Topping up of extra transformer oil required to achieve desired level measured and paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ (Schedule). (iii) HT/LT side complete bushing assemble with brass stud & oil seal shall be measured & paid under relevant item of this BOQ (Schedule).

Disconnecting and dismantling the existing indoor type, 11 KV horizontal draw out type VCB trolley of rupturing capacity 250/350 MVA, 400/630/800 Amps from location and repair /overhauling servicing and carrying out with the following activities as mentioned below complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Inspecting / overhauling servicing of manual / motorised spring drive mechanism by checking mechanism, motor and gear assembly, big gear assembly, stop bolt assembly, main shaft interlocking assembly, closing spring assembly, small cam with screw, motor cut -off limit switch, butter fly switch assembly and apply multi grease lubricant to function smoothly. (ii) Inspecting / overhauling of tripping assembly,earthfault release assembly, tripping coil, auxiliary switch and checking of electrical wiring system. (iii) Inspecting / overhauling /cleaning and inspecting through insulators, vacuum interrupters by carbon cleaner solution and apply dry graphite conductive sealant for electrical contacts to avoid carbon deposits on contact surfaces. (iv) Assembling all items/components parts to the respective position & testing the breaker with High Voltage(DC) and meggering before and after high voltage test complete. M & L for on line Centrifuging (filtration) of transformer oil incl checking initial and after filtration dielectric strength of oil for transformers installed at various locations in MH and Range Hills area under AGE E/M(West) with suitable machine having filtration, heating and pumping facility to improve the dielectric strength/insulation value of oil all as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge. Note:- (i) Dielectric strength of oil after filtration/dehydration shall not be less than 60 KV. (ii) Oil for toping up shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only. (iii) The contractor will take shut down orders in writing before commencement of the work from Engr - in - Charge. (iv) The contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil. (v) The contractor solely responsible for any damage to the transformer during filtration operations. He is responsible for making good any damage to the transformer at his own cost without any extra cost to the department. (vi) The contractor shall ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before starting the dehydration. (vii) The di-electric strength of oil shall be tested before & after filtration. Test results shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge.
