Consultancy services for providing and detailing for "SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR PROVN OF 2.2KM SECURITY WALL WITH LIGHTENING ARRANGEMENTS AND 02 X GUARD ROOM ALONG THE PERIMETER OF 176 MILITARY HOSPITAL AT SRI GNAGANAGAR MILITARY STATION" with all the details as under:- (i) Grain size analysis/identification & classification of soil. (ii) Unit weight (bilk density), natural moisture content, liquid limit, plastic limit, Shrinkage limit, Plastic index, Specific gravity. (iii) Dry density, degree of saturation of soil. (iv) Free swelling index & swelling pressure if expansive soil is encountered. (v) Shear Parameters (C- analysis) (vi) Consolidation test & Permeability test. (vii) Depth of water table below ground level. (viii) Presence of loose soil, if any and its depth. (ix) If weak soil with lesser N value as specification in table-1 if IS 1893 (Part) 2016 is encountered then evaluation of liquefaction potential shall be assessed and remedial action to be adopted shall be specified. (x) SPT test shall be done at 1.0 m interval. (xi) Recommendation for filling under floor and filling under protection including plinth protection. (xii) For open foundation, calculation of net SBC at 1.5 m, 2 m, 3.0 m from sgear as well as settlement criteria. SBC values shall be calculated based on C-analysis as well as SPT value. For calculation formula given in IS 694036 shall be used. (xiii) Recommendation regarding type of foundation to be adopted and net SBC/pile capacity to be adopted. Also, recommendation shall be given regarding stability of soil stabilization required, if any. (xiv) Bore hole position duly marked on plan and their distance from adjacent prominent reference points. Plan size of bldgs, shall also be marked in the plan. This plan be signed be GE, AGE & soil consultant. (xv) Undisturbed soil sample shall be collected at 1.5 m interval and at change of strata. K-value of soil 0.5 m depth required in case of swimming pool and water retaining structure. Modules of subgrade reaction direct shear test on disturbed soil sample.
