Part :- A-Servicing/ Repairing of Upadhaya Make Inlet Sluice Valve of size 600mm dia. of filter bed no 6 No at filter House of Bawana WTP by carrying out the following works:- Removing of gear box from the sluice valve body, along with gland housing and gland plate bolts.
Cutting of nut bolts of Inlet valve C.I bend of size 600 mm dia. & removing of bend from its position with lifting arrangement and put it on the safer place in the water channel.
Closing of incoming water in the filter bed from the outer water channel by providing & fixing of temporary M.S plate & sand bags to make working condition on the Sluice Valve.
Making of special type lifting arrangement for lifting of bonnet with chain block & with the help of heavy duty manual labour arrangement and put it on safer place in the water channel.
Taking out complete wedge from the Sluice Valve body by lifting with the help of Tripod chain block arrangement. Cleaning of body seat rings of Sluice Valve from inside by chemical solution and polishing by manual arrangement. Cleaning of Sluice Valve wedge facing rings by chemical solution, emery paper etc. and polishing as required and making proper lapping of G.M. rings of valves body & wedge rings to make leak proof while on load.
Supply of T bolts. (C.S)
Supply of Gasket. (Rubber IS :638 Type-B)
Supply of nut bolts.
Supply of gland packing.
Fixing of complete wedge in Sluice valve body with proper matching of both the seat rings of body & wedge rings, fixing of wedge nut along with stem, fixing of bonnet after replacing of gasket & damaged nut bolts/studs with the help of lifting arrangement etc & tightening of nut bolts with spanner, fixing of Gland packing and Gland Plate etc. with the help of manual labour arrangement etc. as required by job.
Re-fixing of C.I Bend with rubber packing & nut bolts with the help of lifting arrangement etc. to fix with inlet sluice valve as per site requirement.
Overhauling of complete gear box of the sluice valve including cleaning, greasing and fixing the same on the sluice valve and taking trial run of sluice valve as required by deptt.
Removing of sand bags & temporary M.S plate from the outer water channel to start incoming water from the inlet Sluice valve.
Part :-(B)-Servicing/Repairing of Upadhaya Make Drain Sluice Valves of size 600mm dia. of filter bed no 05 & 06 at filter House of Bawana WTP by carrying out the following :- Removing of gear box, handle with extended spindle from the sluice valve, along with gland housing and gland plate bolts.
Cutting of nut bolts of Drain valve C.I bend of size 600 mm dia & removing of bend from its position with lifting arrangement and put it on the safer place in the water channel.
Making of special type lifting arrangement for lifting of bonnet with chain block & with the help of heavy duty manual labour arrangement and put it on safer place in the water channel.
Taking out complete wedge from the Sluice Valve body by lifting with the help of Tripod chain block arrangement. Cleaning of body seat rings of Sluice Valve from inside by chemical solution and polishing by manual arrangement. Cleaning of Sluice Valve wedge facing rings by chemical solution, emery paper etc. and polishing as required and making proper lapping of G. Cleaning and repairing of SS spindle threads as required by the job.
Cleaning and repairing of GM nut threads by matching with SS spindle threads for smooth movement of spindle on load.
Fixing of complete wedge in Sluice valve body with proper matching of both the seat rings of body &wedge rings, fixing of wedge nut along with stem, fixing of bonnet after replacing of gasket & damaged nut bolts/studs with the help of lifting arrangement etc & tightening of nut bolts with spanner, fixing of Gland packing and Gland Plate etc. with the help of manual labour arrangement etc. as required by job.
Overhauling of complete gear box of the sluice valve including cleaning, greasing and fixing the same on the sluice valve and taking trial run of sluice valve as required by deptt.
Fixing of coupler and extended shaft on the taper cone from the top side and taking trial run of sluice valve as required.
Re-fixing of C.I Bend with rubber packing & nut bolts with the help of lifting arrangement etc. to fix with drain sluice valve as per site requirement.
