SPECIAL REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF HT OVERHEAD LINE WITH HT UG XLPE CABLE FROM SUB STN NO 9 TO DIV SUB STN AND ALLIED WORKS AT UMROI UNDER GE UMROI

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide for laying of cable and erection of poles all as specified and directed at site.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soft/loose soil in layers , all as specified and directed at site

Removing excavated material surplus (soil ) to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable using locally available fine clean dry river sand over, under ground UG cable laid in trenches and gently punning for cushioning to cable complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV, type-I flat of size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm complete in trenches all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair Switch air break, gang operated triple pole mechanically operated, mounted on with 9 insulator and steel frame with operating mechanism working from ground level, current rating upto 400A, 11000 V grade having nine insulators, vertical type including dismantling of existing air break gang operated switch and removal the same from site.

Supply and fixing in repair expulsion drop out fuse carrier assembly outdoor type including fuse element up to 60 Amps and insulator suitable for HT 11 KV complete and dismantling of existing fuse carrier assembly and removal the same from site all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement lightening arrester expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, rated frequency 50 Hz nominal discharge current 65 KA,11 KV complete including taking down old unsv from pole as per directed by Engr In Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable GI tubing light grade of 80 mm dia any type and any position complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in 80 mm bore GI tubing “light grade” in trenches/ on pole for protection of cables complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE HT UG insulated (Earthed),cable laid in trenches/fixed on pole etc with screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, cross sectional area 95 sqmm,3 core conforming to IS-7908(Part-I)1988, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV ( Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 Sqmm.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV ( Earthed) grade cable for outdoor end termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV ( Earthed) grade cable for straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Dismantling of old/rusted aluminium conductor steel reinforced of any size and removing the same from site of work all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of insulator of any size/type and setting aside the serviceable insulator for reuse at site and removing unserviceable insulators from site of work complete all as directed.

Supply & fix insulator pin type porcelain , vitreous , white ,brown or green 150 mm height and 150 mm dia including one galvanised mild steel spindle , two galvanised washers and one galvanised iron nuts for conductor working pressure 11000 Volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix insulator disc type porcelain , vitreous , white ,brown or green 145 mm height and 255 mm dia ball and socket type , single disc assembly for tension with tension clamp for conductor working pressure 11000 Volts grade complete as specified and directed.

M&L for danger notice plate 1.6 mm thick MS sheet , vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures and conventional skull & bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps , bolts ,nuts of approved size for HT , 25x20 cm size including taking out the old out one complete as specified and directed.

S & F Mild steel screw bolts of 5 to 10 mm diameter of shank (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, not exceeding 5 cm long complete as specified and directed.

M & L stay assembly complete with all accessories such as mild steel galvanized flat iron stay clamp, 7/4 mild steel galvanized stay wire, mild steel galvanized stay bow, thimbles, 20mm dia mild steel galvanized stay rod and mild steel galvanized stay-plate all as shown in electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling of steel poles/struts, any size and transporting to store and stacking all as directed.

Supply, fixing and erection of steel tubular swaged poles complete with MS base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-55 ( 11 mtr) as per relevant IS specification including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and including making alternate red and black strips 30 cm height ( total 5 Nos) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 600 x 600 x 6mm thick buried directly in ground pit not less than 4.50 m deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 3.75m below normal ground level connected to & including galvanized iron strips 25X4 mm duly encased in 32 mm bore light grade GI protection pipe both up to 7.5 mtr in length by means of nuts bolts check nut and washers of GI starting from earth plate to panel/transformer side all as specified and including necessary excavation earth work, PCC pit 40mm RCC cover made RCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate concrete reinforced with 8mm dia bars 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia PGI funnel wire mesh and GI pipe light grade 20mm for watering starting from top edge of the plate complete all as specified and testing as per SSR -Part 1.The earth plate shall be surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust with common salt, packed on all side of earth plate in alternate layers of thickness 15 cm each including excavation, earth work in any type of soil, returning and filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance upto 50 mtr complete all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part- I complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI strip of 25mmx4 mm for extending the earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc complete al as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2, (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C1, (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping including necessary use & waste of form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for loop type insulator, vitreous porcelain, white, brown or green, large size with overall dimensions 90x140mm clearance of hole 25.5mm complete all as specified and directed .
