ANNUAL MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS 132 KV TRANSMISSION LINES UNDER ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION DIVISION SAMBHAL

The following works are to be carried out under ETD- Sambhal.

Regular Tower to Tower ground patrolling and Tower top patrolling wherever required of following 132KV transmission line, detecting of faults like missing /theft tower members,puncture insulators disc,dislocation of vibration damper/damaged conductor/eartthwire,checking of foundation & position of tree in coridor of 27 meters of line,patrolling shall be done on bi-quartly basis i.e 4 times in a year.

A) 132 KV DC Chandausi(220KV)-Chandausi Line = 14.704 X 4=58.816 Km B) 132 KV DC Chandausi(220KV)-Behjoi Line = 6.346 X 4=25.384 Km C) 132 KV DC Chandausi(220KV)-Asmoli Line = 37.431 X 4=149.724 Km D) 132 KV DC Behjoi-Babrala Line = 26.298 X 4=105.192 Km

Submission of patrolling report on prescribed computerized performa in 5 copies of each line seprately after each patrolling duly binded with one soft copy.

Looping,chopping and cutting of trees branches upto 0.5 meters grith in the 27 metrs corridor of line and stacking of above trees at proper place for from the line.

Fixing of missing tower parts on the above lines on different type of tower including cutting,fabrication of angle irons as per actual requirement at site then fitting of fabricated tower inplace of missing tower parts on different tower with bolts and nuts.This work also include the carriage of angle iron from Store of ETD-Sambhal to actual site of work and return for surplus iron to cental store of this division.Angle iron and bolts and nuts will be provided by the department free of cost.

Back filling of earth across the tower foundation wherever required including cost of material,labour,T&P etc and its transportation up to site.

Repair of foundation coping,wherever required including cost of material,labour,T&P etc band its transportation up to site.

Strengthing/Replacement of damaged jumpers at tension towers.

Replacement of dameged/puncture polymer/disk insulators in string at different tower location including cartage of material from store to site of the above line.All the manpower & T&P shall be provided by the tenderers for completion of work.

Reparing of injured ACSR Panther Conductor by binding of alluminium wire /Repair sleeve including lowering down of conductor and hositing after compressing the repair sleeve.

Reparing of injured/Broken Earthwire by Repair sleeve and mid span joint including lowering down of conductor and hositing after compressing the repair sleeve

Cleaning of nest from the tension tower insulators formed by birds.

Emergency patrolling of above lines during tripping/ line fault to detect the exact fault location & type of Fault.
