Electrogalvanized wire shall not be used, as it does not have an alloy layer essential for corrosion resistance. Zn used for
galvanizing should be of at least 99.95% purity for better corrosion resistance. Secondary refined Zn should not be used. In the
galvanizing process, the Zn bath should be free from addition of lead, to prevent lowering of corrosion resistance properties in

There will be 1600 pcs IP binders required to be installed per KM (i.e., 1600 nos. IP binders + 1600 nos. Mushroom head Nut

min 350 GSM. The galvanized binders are subsequently Thermoplastic Powder coated after fabrication with a thickness of

Providing and fixing in position at site swing leaf M.S. gate of overall size 4.98m x 2.625m as per drawing & direction of
Engineer-in-charge as detailed below:
(i) Welded mesh size 76.2mm X 12.7 mm, wire 4mm dia welded with frame consisting of MS tube (SHS) 50mm x 50mm x
2mm, bracing of MS angle 50mm x 50mm x 2mm, & 6mm gusset plate and wicket gate of size 2.53 m x 0.94 m made up of MS
tube (SHS) 40 mm x 40 mm x 2 mm frame with welded wire mess all complete as per given drawing.
(ii) Welded mesh size 76.2mm x 12.7 mm, wire 4mm dia welded with frame consisting of MS tube (SHS) 50mm x 50mm x
2mm length 690 mm horizontally as well as vertically fixed at the top of the gate frame.
(iii) PTC Concertia coil of dia 850mm fixed/ welded at the top of gate frame with tear blade profile having SS blade (SS 304) of
length of 30 mm, thickness 0.45 mm.
(iv) MS hinges with pintail of 25mm Φ and 80mm long,4 Nos. 18 mm dia. 450mm long tower bolts 2 Nos with 40mm Φ G.I.
socket and locking arrangement with 2 aldoop and handle.
(v) 200 mm thick M- 20 including necessary earth work below gate (5.230 mtr x 3.0 mtr).
