Attending repair works on Dewatering pump No. II at Dry Dock , Port Blair in A and N Islands

(a). Dismantling the Kirloskar BHM-40 (HF-9CUK-14 model,Total Head -11.50 M, Size- 500 mm Rated flow - 500 lit/Sec, Pump input- 67.51 KW, Speed - 740 RPM, Prime mover rating- 90 KW) main dewatering pump No.II (west side) for attending repair work including disconnecting and removal of motor, complete casing pipe, impeller shaft, trans shaft, head shaft, motor stool, impeller, spiders etc complete, removing the wornout bushes, shaft sleeves from pump shaft for inspection including all labour charges, minor tools etc. (b). Assembling the dewatering pump after fixing the sleeve to the shaft, fixing the bushes to the spiders, fixing the CI bush to the housing, fixing the check nut to the shaft, thereafter assembling the bottom strainer, bell mouth, casing pipe, impeller, impeller shaft, trans shaft, head shaft, spiders, after fixing the ‘O’ ring in proper places and alignment. Refixing the Pumpbase, motor stool, Coupling the motor after cleaning, all the parts with wire brush/buffing painting with one coat of marine quality redoxide primer, followed by two coat of marine quality paint and trail run and testing the Pump operation etc., complete including cost of all labour charges, GST but excluding cost of spares and other items required for the work will be supplied by the department on free of cost.

Making the casing pipe flange strengthening supporting steel flange, steel strainer, making CI bush for the housing making the brass check nut for the shaft, making 03 Nos. Teflon bushes for the spider including cost of steel plate, steel rod, oxygen gas cylinder, calcium carbide, welding electrode, cost of Teflon shaft, CI shaft, brass shaft, machining charges, cost of marine quality primer, marine quality paint, minor tools, transportation charges, GST etc., complete.
