SPL REPAIR OF DRILL PARADE GROUND AT RAJPUT REGT CENTRE AT FATEHGARH

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and fanning the cleaned surface with air blower / power compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 sqm on road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure machanism complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (Design mix) (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 4% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix laid and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne vibratory power road roller complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Premix Bituminous macadam shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done with mechanical sensor paver and asphaltic dense concrete work shall be done within 48 hours after completion of rolling and consolidation of bituminious macadam. (b) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is any variation in the actual binder content used in lower side, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs.45/Kg. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified above. (c) The contractor shall carryout a total staiton survey to take the initial level of the drill ground before laying of bituminous macadam. the size of grids shall not be greater than 5 meters. (d) The contractor shall submit the level sheets in A1 size paper duly signed by the AGE (I), Engr in charge, JE and the contractor before claiming payment in the RAR. (e) The qty of bituminous macadam shall be calculated based on the level sheets submitted by the contractor. (f) The rate quoted shall be inclsuive of the total station survey and submission of level sheets.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sqm over black top surface and laying bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete (Design mix) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 6% binder content by weight of total mix (paving bitumen VG-30) rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonnes power vibratory road roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Premix concrete shall be mixed in hot mix plant, transported from plant to work site and laid / spread by means of mechanical sensor paver. (b) Contractor shall quote his rate on this basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is any variation in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs.45/Kg lower side of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified above.

M&L for preparation of road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.5 mm thick single coat as a centre line or edge line etc road marking of 150/100 mm width using thermoplastic paint (hot application) white / yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as binder, glass beads (minimum 8%), titanium dioxide, calcuim caronatre, inter filler etc thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be conforming to BS-6086 & MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads etc complete all as per manufacture's instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement 3 coarse sand) including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not be more than 5 mm) including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating prepared DAC surface by 32 hours (08 hrs per day) rolling with pneumatic roller to achieve the desired compaction and surface finish complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Demolition of brick work masonary built in mud mortar including all quiens arches, pillars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 etc complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per item No.8 above but except bricks complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Old serviceable bricks retrieved from srl item No.7 above shall be used under this item.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided in this schedule below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed.
