REPAIR RECTIFICATION OF DAY TO DAY COMPLIANTS OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION SUPPLY SYSTEM INCLUDING REPAIRS REPLACEMENT OF LT FEEDER PILLAR BOXES AND MISC REPAIRS TO MAIN LT PANEL BOARDS, APFC PANELS AND CONNECTED WORKS IN ZONE-II A AND D UNDER AGE EM

M&L for attending, repair and rectification of external LT/HT electric supply compliants on 1100/11000 Volts grade, under ground / over head system alongwith necessary T&P, safety devices as per site requirement for the following type of compliants complete all as specified and directed:-

Replacement of wornout jumpers, jointing and tightening with new ACSR conductor. Note:- Single phase/two wire or 3 phase/4 wire system will be considered as one job for payment purpose.

Disconnecting from over head conductor, cutting worn out portion of LT cables of any type and size, carry out repairs including taking out cables from under ground loop line and rejoining the same to restore electric supply. Notes:- (i) LT Jointing kits, LT XLPE Cables of any size, cable protection pipe if required at site will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cutting and removing the Pole coping and inserting the cable along with protection pipes.

Replacement of faulty LT switch gear/main switch/MCCB's of any type and size fixed in panel board pole mounted boxes on walls or any other indicated places including provision of lugs/thimbles of suitable sizes. Note: - Switch gears used for replacement will be issued under relevant item of this schedule.

Replacement of street light timers of any capacity, in any location. Note: Spares for repair of Street light timers or new timer switches will be measured and paid separately.

Taking down old unserviceable Street light fittings / LED light fittings in any position of any capacity, Repair of street light fittings by replacement of unserviceable spares like Ballast/ HPSV lamp/MH lamp/CFL Lamp/Ignitor/ Capacitor etc and refixing the same in existing location. Note:- Spares for repair of street light fittings will be measured and paid under respective items.

Replacement of Energy meter of any capacity and any type. Note:- Energy meters will be issued under Sch 'B' free for fixing only.

Attending KWH meter compliants viz, rectifying loose connections in meter and switch gear, checking of calibration of meter to ensure proper function, testing, sealing and submission of reading after repairs to respect of AGE E/M No-II sub division.

Trimming/prunning and removing of tree branches or any other forein objects from HT/LT over head conductor and clearing the OH Line of any type and size for one span of any length in 2 way /4 way/6 way conductor system. Notes: (i) Insulators of any type, connectors and ACSR conductor of any size required at site will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) The contractor is responsible for provision of necessary T&P and safety equipments to complete the job. (iii) Quoted rate is deemed to inclusive of Replacement of Insulators, Joining the ACSR Conductor, Jumpering and stringing the ACSR conductor etc.

Notes for Item Nos 1.01 to 1.08:- (a) The contractor will be alloted complaints at MES complaint cell on required basis on all working days and sufficient resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day comaplaints within 24 Hrs from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of sufficient cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consulatation with Engr-in-Charge or JE E&M as detailed. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangment for emergency complaints and will notify authorised rep/Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare utilized as per inventry format given by AGE E/M, Secunderabd and the same shall be submitted to E/M No II store on daily basis.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation of PCC/Steel pole, laying of cable in trenches etc and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 02 above but depth exc 1.5 mtr but not exc 3 mtr.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L filling approved river sand in trenches for sand cushioning of laying of cables to the full width of excavated trench 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable, gently punned down complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness of sand cushion after punning down shall be measured for payment.

Supply and Laying bricks, common burnt clay building bricks, sub class 'B' of size 230 x 115 x 75 mm laid across in trenches for cable protection including dismantling old existing bricks complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only bricks, common burnt clay building bricks, sub class 'B' of any size (Obtained from dismantling) laid across in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Laying of old bricks (For re-use) shall be taken from dismantling of existing unsv bricks from UG cable trenches.

M&L for Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) conductor of LT/HT OH line including straightening and stringing of any size and pattern as required at site including jointing the conductor with new conductor on existing pole and binding with the new aluminium binding wire 2 mm dia including taking down old ACSR conductor any type complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Trimming of tree branches upto 1.50 Mtrs distance around conductor is included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) Extra aluminium conductor requiured for jumpers and binding purpose is included in the unit rate quoted.

M&L cross arms, bracing supports clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section incl nuts, bolts washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shapes or size as directed including applying two coat of Ist quality aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide primer and fixed over Pole of any height including taking down old unserviceable cross arms etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for galvanised steel wire 3.15/4mm dia as in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Guard cradles, hexagonal/rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15/4mm dia as in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, errecting and fixing steel tubular swaged poles with cast iron base plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws for type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of redoxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to embedded portion in PCC and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" (inch) wide including taking down old unserviceable PCC/Steel poles of any type complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for pole / stay / post etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in coping /pedestals of poles including necessary form work complete and applying two coats of white wash to exposed surface of coping/platform complete all as specified and directed.

S&F stay assembly all as specified and shown in plate No-1 of MES SSR part - I (2009, comprising of 7/10 SWG galvanized MS stranded stay wire of required length, minimum tensile strength 70 kg/Sqmm (grade-2 quality) fixed to pole with and including FI clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, galvanized steel stay rod 16mm dia 180 cm long bow 400 x 14 mm nuts/bolts, washers all galvanized and two Nos thimble, loop insulator of size 65 x 90 mm vitreous, clearence dia of hole 16 mm, stay plate of size 230 x 230 x 6mm including necessary excavation and earth work, PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation, RFR and disposal of surplus soil, upto 50 mtr including dismantling old unserviceable stay assembly complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lay, test and commissioning of XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volls grade, cross-sectional area laid in trenches / duct or fixed to wall / passing through pipe on pole with suitable size cable glands, crimping type cable lugs for stranded aluminium conductor of following sizes including disconnecting and taking down existing damaged/unserviceable LT UG cables of any size/core from trenches/ducts/poles/walls etc complete all as specified and directed :-

M&L cutting of road/hard stranding straight by manual upto a size not exceeding 60cm in width and not exceeeding 1.0m in depth for laying of LT UG cable/protection pipe line including filling back with excavated soil upto 75% of road portion and 25% shall be making good the distrubed portion so as to match existing finishing with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring of horizontal holes under the road below 1.5 mtr from the road/hard standing/drain crossing by adopting trenchless technology including tunneling work through ultra sound technique and specified pipe jacking method by erecting the equipment to true to the allignment and gradient complete including tunneling without damaging the existing road and getting out in any type of soils, hard rock etc and disposal of soil/rock to a distance not exceeding 50m from the site of work including supply & laying MS casing pipe heavy duty of size 100 mm dia, 6mm thick in any length including jointing materials to carry LT UG cables of size up to 400 Sqmm and necessary conveyance charges of machinery and other required materials in co-ordination with the concerned authorites complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for Restreching/releasing the binding of ACSR conductor of LT / HT over head line from insulator, removing the jumper, connector, service wire, UG cable and restringing the existing ACSR conductor of any size, length, span upto desired sag and fixing the existing ACSR conductor on insulators by proper binding, jumper connection etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The distance between pole to pole in running meter (2/4/6 runs) i.e one span will be measured as one unit for payment purpose. (ii) Extra aluminium conductor requiured for jumpers and binding purpose is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (iii) Trimming of tree branches upto 1.50 Mtrs distance around conductor is included in the unit rate quoted.

M & L for painting the existing LT steel poles of 9.0 Mtr long including cross arms, clamps, street light junction boxes etc with one coat of aluminium paint including throughly cleaning the existing surface, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles. Painting the poles up to 1.5 Mtr height with alternate bands 30 cm height (3 Nos black and 2 Nos Yellow) from ground level, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Painting the existing LT PCC poles of 9.0 Mtr long with one coat of acrylic paint including throughly cleaning the existing surface, and make the surface smooth including painting of cross arms, clamps, etc with one coat of aluminium paint and providing alternative band of 30 cm width (3 black and 2 yellow) from bottom of pole to 1.5 metres height , writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting unaxious green growth and grass by manual labour or by machine at all around 2/4 Pole Structure/ along the boundary fencing and removing rubbish from the site of work complete all as specified and directed.

S&F sheet metal MCCB enclosures (HSN Code : 8538), SKB 5/6/7 Frame, 4 Pole (Fixing by suitable MCCB of capacity upto 160 A, 4P) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.48 above, but of SKB 1/2 Frame, 4 Pole (Fixing by suitable MCCB of capacity from 200 A and 250 A, 4P).

The base of the feeder box shall be provided at 0.60 m above the ground level 4 Nos angle iron legs made from angle iron 50 x 50 x 6 mm shall be embedded on PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 300 x 300 mm and 300 mm with depth below the ground level.
