Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for taking out/laying of UG Cables, GI Pipe etc. and getting out in hard dense soil complete.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick.

Removing of excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point.

M&L for providing sand cushioning for protection of UG cable in trenches with coarse Riddled Earth of approved quality as approved in writing by GE including filling, spreading and punning down to desired thickness complete and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying sub class "B" bricks in trenches for protection of UG Cable with width equal to length of bricks, laid dry & flat complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for GI pipe light grade with all running fittings (ISI Marked), laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall/pole/crossing drain/nallah etc. of bore 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : Wherever GI Protection pipes are to be placed/fitted above earths surface, cost of necessary clamping/fixing arrangements to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Notes for Item Nos 26 to 31:- (i) Design / drawing / BOM of the Panel Board showing the dimensions is to be obtained from the Manufacturer / Supplier & is to be got approved from the Engr-in-Charge & GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. (ii) Anything missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for Repairs to feeder pillar box/LT panel etc, taking out old unserviceable and fixing of new hinges (if any) by welding/bolt nuts,addn/altn to MCCB enclosure cover with one incoming and No of out goings by grinding,cutting and painting all as shown and diretced, repairs to door lock by replacing unsv locks, extension of aluminium bus bars for incoming/outgoing MCCBs as per existing shapes and size, spray painting with two coats of approved grade & color synthetic enamel paint after scrapping incl preparation of old painted surfaces & fixing 02 nos (front & back) danger notice plate as per standard size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr (B.G.L.) and connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, and washers of galvanized iron including PCC pit & Iron cover with suitable handle, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm dia med grade galvanized steel tube for watering with one end fixed with suitable funnel and wire mesh, 40 mm bore medium grade galvanized steel tubing for drawing earth lead GI strip protection & common salt, charcoal in alternate layers etc. complete all as shown in EP No 3 of SSR Part 1 and testing on completion complete. Note :-1) On completion of the complete work/job the Contr is to perform earth resistance tests for each earthing job in the presence of the Engr-In-Charge or his rep & submit test certificates duly signed & certified. If the test results are not satisfactory or not within the permissible limits of relevant Standards/IS then the job is to be redone without any extra cost to the Dept till the results are satisfactory.

Supply and fixing the name board Size 59 X 36 Inch including conneted item for fixing arragement all as specified ad directed by Engr- in- charge with stainsteel pole with supporting Steel frame , PCC (1:3:6) type C2 foundation necessary earth work (if any) incl taking down and all as specified and directed by Engr-Charge. (colour, specification menction in the boad desied by Engr in charge)

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of outdoor/indoor type LT/HT Panels, Feeder Pillar/Junction boxes, Change-over Boxes etc. of any size/type etc. after cleaning of oils, wax, lubricants, grease, rusty scales, spider webs, dusts etc. complete & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour & grade using spray gun & neatly writing distribution details (if applicable) and repair /replacement Hinges, and complete all as specified & as directed by the Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for cutting grass , bushes, creepers, weeds, unwated plants/growths etc , in and arround the panel board , substation or any other location as directed by Engr in charge /GE and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specifed and to the entire satisfication of the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for straight through joint, heat shrink type for LT UG Cable incl joint kits suitable for Aluminium conductor cable of size 25 to 50 Sqmm 4/3.5 core incl earthwork, taking down, preparation of damaged cable incl testing complete all as specified & as directed by the Engr-In-Charge.
